I make cottagecore designs and they are fairly popular, if you want to niche down even further there are related styles like goblincore, farmcore, fairycore and grandmacore.... Plus lots of others. It's a really big aesthetic.

I did hear about Cottagecore just recently, but still wrapping my head around the concept. I looks like cottage chic, or shabby chic. It's how my family has been decorating their places since i can remember. Im not a fan but looks like it could by $ by creating the graphics and shirts. Thanks for helping clear it up a bit.

I love this cottagecore style and I can think of many different ways of doing this design...if only I was artistic. I checked to see if "cottagecore" was copyrighted and IT IS listed as copyrighted but not sure how far the copyright goes but if you decide to go with this design, be super careful with keywords you use on Merch but I think this type of design might be worth pushing just to see what happens.

No.... sorry... I stopped the trend credits for a couple of reasons.... 1) Trends are tough and can change and can be trademarked.. I didn't want to give bad information by accident...and hurt someones account but suggesting a trend that could get them in trouble..... 2) Trends come and go so frequently and I wanted my content to be more timeless.... I hope that makes sense

There is no exact number.... I would do as many as you can but keep the quality up.... remember you are competing with the designs on the page

I wonder if you could talk a bit about your mindset when creating, because honestly, regardless of having the tools and knowledge I'm feeling stuck. A creative block I guess. For example, I could draw a 🐸 and put it on a shirt, but I think, it's not good enough etc. Just wondering how your thought process works to move past doubts. Thanks 👍

Great idea! I think we all have imposter syndrome at some point...the way I get over it is to look at all I've done... I know I made sales and I know that I can do it again... if you haven't made sales take a look at what others are doing... if your shirt is just as good or better than theirs and they are making sales there is no reason you can't make sales either... have a positive mindset that you can do it because others have done it.. you can too

Not so... I don't advertise my Merch by Amazon shirt and they are selling..... Still selling more than 50 a day.... You do need to upload a ton of shirts though... I do have almost 10,000 designs on Merch by Amazon as well....it does take a long time but it doesn't take advertising

I share my whole shop on RedBubble....I have links to my shops everywhere... my name of my channel is the name of my shops....Tell me anyone who is more transparent.... I show how videos on how to create my designs, designs I sell on my shop. These videos are for everyone to see... I expose myself more than anyone else....plus what I am showing is public knowledge... I am not sharing anything that you can not look up yourself..... it's not a secret.

But you said, that RB makes 1% of your income or a really tiny bit of it, so i really doubt that you have the same designs on Merch by Amazon. You always showing other´s people work with low BSR on MBA, e.g with your Cottagecore Trend you showed one of mine bestselling ones, why not yours? you only designed something here for your youtube content, but what about "Thanks for checking..... so far my designs have been okay", what about this designs or your other trend credits where you exposing other designs with low BSR´s. Never heard, that you said this is one of mine, here is the BSR to proof it works, if you do like i teached you. And you are 100% right, it´s public and everybody can find trends like cottagecore, but most of your subscribers don´t. That´s 100% clear, by checking your comments. I really don´t have a problem, if someone put his time into it, researched for it and work it out on his own, but not on this way. You should know better!

Actually ....a lot of my designs on RedBubble are my best selling designs on Amazon they just have a different audiences...my best selling design is on my wall in back of all my videos....It's my corgi eating ramen..... I show it all time.....My website is behind me on all my videos too.. www.detourshirts.com.... with all my work....you can also click on my brand on Amazon, it says Detour Shirts and see all my designs.... I can list more than 10 videos on my channel where I show my personal designs... When one of my designs do show up on a video I do mention it.... I've done it in several videos......Look I get it... you are upset that I exposed a trend that the masses didn't know about and now you will get a ton of competition that you didn't want....You are scared that now 1000s of people will make designs and you will lose sales.....Don't worry, I do know better, I've been doing this a long time.... I've been sharing my designs and my trends that I do personally for a long time now....... It hasn't made that big of an impact on my sales as you might think.... In fact, it's the opposite.... I've been getting more sales..... If you already have sales and reviews your design will get pushed to the top....POD sellers will always have to compete, update, improve and pivot.... Just a polite note… You and other youtubers should stop doing this niche/trend videos. Basically what you are doing is destroying these niches for the ones who have worked really hard to find the niche. Because of your content these niches get bloated with low quality designs. People how are actually ready to put in the work can not work in their niche any more. It is really frustrating. And why are you doing this? Just to get some clicks? For the long run... these types of videos are not actually helping anyone. All they do is deepen POD bad reputation. You should also spread the word about this amongst other youtubers.

It helps those who need direction... many people want to get into the POD business but don't know where to start....Yes, it does add more designs to the trends but the best designs will always rise to the top and get sales... if you are good at designing tshirts you shouldn't be afraid of more competition....A lot of people in this industry are visually learners... they need to see what to design, they need to see examples, see the numbers.... It's not just for the clicks, I truly believe I am helping a lot of people who have asked for this content.....The bad reputation comes from people who are stealing and doing copyright infringement and doing spam tagging.... I've been in this industry since 2005 and have had a ton of sales even after sharing all my niches.....I'm not encouraging anyone to break the rules.... I want to share the possibilities of Print on Demand... it is a wonderful platform...with room for everyone.
