I like the Norman ballcap although I only wear the comfort fit style and not the trucker hat with that yucky snap back. Is there a option for a comfort fit ballcap style? Sorry to be a Debbie Downer... LoL. Is the quoted, "Elastic band." a solid back on the hat or is it a snap-back style?

Hello Matt, nice video, these are the kind I like. Here's a tip, I am born and raised here 76 years and have lived in the Bush many of those years. I never take a any kind of pad with me, when I get to a camping spot Winter or Summer, I lay Spruce boughs down, They are comfortable, insulate from the cold and smell good as well. Hope to see more videos like this. When will we start seeing your wife in the videos? Thanks for sharing.

Great video! I envy you Matt, I used to be able to do the camping in the wilderness thing, but age has caught up with me, so I enjoy watching someone else, it brings back memories. Beautiful country, and definitely the last wilderness untouched by man. Enjoy your youth and keep making videos for us older ones.

I noticed your Ski Doo Summit. A great sled but not usually considered a freight hauler to the back country. Do you prefer that over something like a Skandic?
@alaskacabinadventures9 ай бұрын
I’d love to have a sled for every occasion but since I mostly was mountain riding when I bought it, it’s what I got. Definitely would prefer a super wide 900 turbo for this kind of mission 👀👀…but the summit does the job just fine. Hauled lots of wood and gear with mine many times. Thanks for watching.

Great video! One thought for a better sleep....a cot. There are many that fold down compactly and weigh next to nothing. Throw an Eddie Bauer down blanket on the cot and your sleeping bag ...good to go. Rough sleeps suck! Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦

Your comment about the contrast between the scenery you find where you live and the cities you've been to reminded my of this lyric, "God made the mountains, God made the sky. God made the people, God knows why. He fixed up the planet as best as he could and in come the people and gum it up good" The First Thing You Know, from Paint Your Wagon.
