HOT TENT by NatureHike - Massif 4 Season 4P - FIRST LOOK & WALKTHROUGH

We take a first look at the NatureHike Massif 4P 4 Season Hot Tent. How easy is it to setup? How much space is there? Will are Pomoly Oroqen Mini 3 fit? We go over all of these questions along with a closer look at the interior setup. Also checking out the tents unusual features like the skylights, stove jack, and removable inner mesh sleep areas. With this tent weighing in at nearly 18 lbs, it is definitely not a backpacking tent. We will be trying out some winter time glamping.

Fantastic looking tent. It looks like it checks all the boxes for a four season tent. Plenty of ventilation and yet plenty of coverage in the event of heavy rain. Very nice.

We haven’t had it out in any high winds yet. It does have the extra tie down straps on each corner where the poles cross. We have been through several strong rain storms and everything stayed dry.

I'm in my 2p version right now. First night in it. I'm using a Winnerwell Nomad stove for heating. It just started to rain but I was expecting it. I set up yesterday before the rain because I wanted to see how it would handle it. So far it's doing great!

Awesome! I don’t like setting up and taking down in the rain but love to be inside the tent while it is raining. The sound of the rain hitting the tent while being all nice and warm is 👌🏽🤩

After watching your video a few times I realized the sleeping areas can be unclipped toward the center and pushed back against the wall to open the space. When it's time for bed simply reclip the four points, stoke the stove and crash. I wonder if that's what they had in mind putting four points toward the inner and having all those other clips against the outer wall? Cool design. Definitely getting one. I may go for the smaller two person though. That would be perfect for my solo trips.

Having all those clips does really add to the flexibility of the tent. The smaller two-person option sounds like a great choice for solo trips - compact and cozy! Enjoy your adventures with your new setup!

It should be noted , The link provided is for the 2p model , only has an inner at one end , and ceiling height is only 60" and weighs 10.5 lbs . The only place i have seen the 4p model is on the naturehike website . Great vid i would have never known there was also a 4 p model unless i watched this vid . Just sayin

The 4 person was on the listing with the 2p but seems to come and go randomly. Maybe they are low on stock as it is a new model. The Naturehike site does seem to have it in stock.

@@ExploreTrekAdventure thanks figured that out . Nature hike has it on their website for $500 . I wanted the standing head height , the 2p is only 55" . Great vid , great tent but for $500 , i think i would rather order a "brean 3 poled" off of one of the euro tent suppliers sites with international shipping (not available in the us market). Almost always solo so not sure i want a tent with an almost '17 length anyway , but thanks for the vid and the reply just the same .

Seems to be a tent with very good materials. What I miss: More hooks in the ceiling area, pockets at the front of the sleeping cabins and a separate floor for the living area - as a tub to hang in.

We also wish there were more hooks in the ceiling area. We ended up buying small double ended carabiners and hooked them to the zipper pulls and inner tent clips.

That's a great looking tent!! What size pipe will fit the stove jack? I have two stoves. One with a 4" pipe and another with a 5" pipe. Will they both fit?

The entire fireproof circle is 6” and the pre-cut slits are 4”. The 4” should fit but the 5” only give you a 1/2 inch buffer and you would have to cut the slits a bit more.

It would be a bit warmer but there are 4 huge doors to open for tons of ventilation.

No body going to point out all the water (condensation) on the inside of the tent (2:26)!!!!???? Can you please explain that?

Sure. We had the tent setup for over a week in cold wet conditions and there were several days where it was not being used. We needed a few extra shots of certain parts so that is what you are seeing. The good news is all that condensation will go away after 2-3 hours once the stove is started up and putting out heat. This tent has 4 huge doors plus one vent on each corner so ventilation is not a big concern (in our experience).
