Steak and banana is my absolute favourite meal 😍😄 Gorgeous video Bjorn! Your forests are so beautiful and that icy lake and the sound it made was mesmerising. I've never heard that before. I loved your lanterns too, made it all look so cosy. Thank you for sharing this 🤗🌿

Your area looks much like the Crown Land I spend a lot of my leisure time here in Canada. I have thought of camping there, and after seeing your video I think I will do it this winter. Rather than a tent, I think I’ll just made a lean-to with spruce boughs. Other than that, I think it would be just like what you did. Thanks for the inspiration.

Hello Bjorn! There are things that I miss about living in colder climates. Real snow, the silence in the woods after a good snow, crisp winter air, and yes, singing ice... Although in my older years,( I'm 65 now) I do enjoy the mild climate of East Texas. I've been here a little over fourtyfive years now. High 90s- low 100s in the summer are good. I haven't had air conditioning most of that time. Thanks for the videos. Happy Holidays!🎄❄️

As of this week the UK just finalised a law making it a criminal offence to camp in Dartmoor. Dartmoor was the last place in England or Wales where one could legally wildcamp. I'm therefore living the dream through your videos, whilst planning my escape from this toxic country. Slàinte and cheers to you all, fellow lovers of nature and the 'old' ways.

Thanks for the comment. I saw a video and have talked with some English friends about this. As far as I understand, it is "only" a smaller part of Dartmoor. But the court ruling might have presedence, so that if other land owners want to ban people from camping there, they probably will be able to. This is terrible and I expect the good people of England to not respect it!

I watch several Scandinavian youtubers and I have a question, why dosen't any one fish ? I see so much fresh water streams, lakes, rivers , and nobody is fishing, why? What is the best fresh water fish to fish for in Norway. Here in the state's, survival would be 75% fishing to stay alive..

Steak and sweetcorn! I'm not a meat eater and haven't done so for over 40 years. But unlike some vegan friends who say they'd die rather than eat meat, I'd have nothing against hunting for survival. Might eat those vegan friends first... 🤔😅

When I saw this I was thinking about people who complain about the cold and you telling them - 'Stop complaining - and go camping like us!'. I will soon have my Firebox stove. I am interested to understand how much wood is needed to keep it running for a period of time. I guess most people experimented with fires before - but I never did - so I need to learn everything. What I do know is - the smoky smells get in your clothes very quick.
