I was on nights the same night as you when this snowfall landed, I planned on getting out, but unfortunately didn't make it. I'm quite envious after watching this, it looked like a fantastic camp, and that wind sounds quite chilling. It was a cold one that night different ball game in the negative, fluids ,battery, big no no on the filters, and then the hardest part looking after the core temperature, cant please everyone lee,no need to explain, steak was perfect, i never leave the stove burner over night because the sleeping bag is usually up for the task ,the stove is there just to make you comfortable befor bed

Tank, I was wondering how far you carry your gear to your camp? Cots are awkward to carry.

When I take the cot on a trip I kinda scrimp a little on other thinks to keep the weight down. I may leave a radio, take a sawyer water filter instead of 2lts of water. Cots in the winter can really make that camp a lot more comfortable, so it's worth leaving a few other luxury items at home. Love my cot, no mat or air mattress needed.
