I have been playing the guitar for 26 years as an amateur, but after all these videos at the Chet Atkins convention, Nashville TN, July 2018, I feel like an absolute beginner. As if, I had learned to play yesterday. OK. My guitar-world is actually high-distortion e-guitar and hard rock something like Joe Satriani, John Petrucci, Andy Timmons, Sergey Golovin, Andy James, Steve Morse, Steve Vai, and so on. Don’t understand me wrong, they are all great guitarists, but this performance opens a new universe for me. You guys are absolutely awesome. You do not need electric to play, you generate electric. Big flashes in calm atmosphere. I bow with humility and admiration and hope you guys would live at least other 100 years hoping to experience the development of your great music. Greetings from Switzerland. Please come all three together to Switzerland to play here. Thanks KZbin. Translated with help from Google.

I've been playing guitar for 4 years now. As I'm watching this I don't know if throw my guitar away or if start practicing like there is no tomorrow. I'm brazilian, thus my style of playing the guitar is very different, samba and choro are really away from blues. Even though my roots or my guidelines are apart from this genre (despite the shared african influences), I can't stop my self but to love north american guitar and the blues and be more in love each day. Loving hugs from Brazil! Keep the guitar culture alive... Nylon or steel strings, we're all on the same team. Sorry for any grammar mistakes as I'm not a native speaker. Stay strong!

I've been playing for going on 20 years, and I can tell you for sure that people who have been playing even longer and are much better than myself have the same reaction when they see Tommy and Richard play haha, they are insanely good. Never give up, I spent over a decade trying to play metal guitar and now I'm learning Tommy songs, poorly but still getting there.
