Jim's solos are so sweet and tasty, great timing and colors. Tommy is such a genius, infinite sense of improvisation and groove, Richard really solid and I enjoy some of recognizable Django's lightning licks he put in there. The trio swing like crazy and never rush, if you check the video from beginning to end they keep the same tempo whereas so many things happen in there, high level.

@@jerrylanglois7892 I would agree, but the problem I have when someone is mentioning talent is that it takes away all the hard work these guys probably invested in their guitar playing. When you say they are talented then you impyling that they were kind of born with it and did not have to do anything for it. Furthermore it demotivates anyone who wants to start playing like that, you know, they possibly think they cannot do it because they have no talent. I tell you hard work is the key, not talent. If you want to speaks chinese, you don't need a talent for it. You just have to sit down everyday for at least 20 min and learn your vocabulary and grammar and in five years' time you will be able to speak. Same with the guitar, it is a language in a way. Just learn it. All of you guys and girls out there who want to start playing gypsy jazz, bosa nova, metal, funk, or whatever just do it! Hard work pays off one day, believe me! You can do it!

I have been playing the guitar for 26 years as an amateur, but after all these videos at the Chet Atkins convention, Nashville TN, July 2018, I feel like an absolute beginner. As if, I had learned to play yesterday. OK. My guitar-world is actually high-distortion e-guitar and hard rock something like Joe Satriani, John Petrucci, Andy Timmons, Sergey Golovin, Andy James, Steve Morse, Steve Vai, and so on. Dont understand me wrong, they are all great guitarists, but this performance opens a new universe for me. This is absolutely awesome. You do not need electricity to play, you generate electricity. Big flashes in calm atmosphere. I bow with humility and admiration and hope you would live at least other 100 years hoping to experience the development of your great music. Greetings from Switzerland. Please come all three together to Switzerland to play here. Thanks KZbin. Translated with help form Google.
