First of all marriage is between the two parties involved (man & woman) Culturally polygamy is not a crime especially when and where the 1st wife is aware and approves of it.. Biblically polygamy isn't wrong, it's jus not "preferred" by many but it's not a sin. The blessing she really needs is of the 1st wife not so much her mother..
