I just got my new Mando DX22 version. Switched hairpieces and popped the head on my Endor Luke. I have the ultimate Luke Skywalker from my childhood. That headsculpt is night and day difference. I also bought an extra Endor suit for my regular Jedi (MMS429). Took the fat suit off and it looks great too. I think I’m going to have to buy another Mando Luke headsculpt and switch the hair pieces again. It’s too good to have the other two headsculpts. Thanks again for your video.

If you're patient, I'd say wait. Either theyll release a book of boba fett version, or 40th anniversary version. Theres no way they won't milk this as they're known to do. I'm hoping someone will recast the wind swept hair, because I've seen pics of it on this sculpt and it looks dope.

Have to say it's been awhile since I've watched one of your vids (or any 1/6 scale figure collectors' vids - I've been trying to stay out of it for awhile taking care of responsibilities & recently got back in it with said responsibilities taken care of). That was a masterful review making me dread me decision. I have had Deluxe Luke for awhile but I don't really know it's flaws since most of my figures not just Luke are in their boxes. My display capability is out of commission and it has been for awhile. So when I received my Deluxe Luke I basically just took opened the box inspected him, put him back inside with wrapping still on I believe and left it at that. I said if they ever do make a DX (since I was saying the whole time the Deluxe should have just been a DX, they knew what they were doing this was to make more money, should have been right the first time) I'll just buy the DX Head. Lol now I'm hearing articulation being hindered, and I kind of knew about the headsculpt already and was like eh close enough lol. but hearing articulation receives an upgrade now I'm like I'm an idiot. Anyway you really owned this review alot of care almost to where you should make Luke your channel's background landing image. Really honored Mark Hamill & Hot Toys' correction over the first one.

Wow, really appreciate the kind words Pin. Means a lot!😁 Those shoulders were weird. I’ve always been a proponent for ratcheted joints...but the ones used for ROTJ luke were bizarre. At times I felt like it was going to break! And never feel like an idiot for owning that figure. Many of us were duped into it and always had the feeling of “they may not make another one” or “it’ll be years before the next one comes out”. The desire for a Luke figure and lack of competition makes many of us make regrettable decisions. Well, at least you have the ROTJ hair and can use it for THIS luke...so not all is lost😅 I think I will use one of the shots as my background image! Thanks for the suggestion!

Agreed. OG ROTJ head sculpt always annoyed me with that open mouth expression. So much better with the Mando/Bespin 2.0 head sculpt with the ROTJ hair.

@@smlshin exactly! This is supposed to be post RoTJ Luke…meaning if they recycled the headsculpt we see in this video, it would’ve made more sense and looked more like Mark. I mean, I’d be upset if they recycled it AGAIN…but it would look far better than what they’ve shown us now.

Love the video, think the same way about those figures. I also have the ROTJ version of Luke, just because I had to have it. Also have the farmer Luke from New Hope, just cause I've to have it, and also cannot stand his face. At least in the pilot version of him, you can just put his helmet on, that do the trick. And also have in preorder the DX22 (Didn't like the Black Troopers design at all, look like Bionicles to me, so no need for the DX version) and for what I've seen so far I'm not dissapointed.

I ended up getting ROTJ Luke because of 2 reasons: HT have revised sculpts. Rare. But they have done so before. 2-I PO’d it from a friend and when final product pics started dropping, I wanted to cancel it so bad, but didn’t want to screw over my buddy. Well, at least I have ROTJ hair 🤣

I will admit, now that I have Mando Luke, I am a bit more forgiving of the old one. it was rough when that old one was the only option, especially when HT kept recycling it as if it was a portrait sculpted by the gods and not knowing when a true update or 2.0 is coming.

Finally got around to getting this. It’s the ultimate Luke figure, I got the ROTJ hair too. LMAO, I will say the ROTJ headsculpt works for force wielding, like reading Grogu’s mind & things like that. I wouldn’t use it for combat poses cause I consider this era of Luke to be more confident. It’s awesome!
