Its more watchable then BVS. It doesn't insult the character just a 2 hour toy commerical but The writing for Batman is better then the character and writing was not Batman in BVS.

Batman & Robin was the first movie I saw in theater, back in 1997. Obviously it’s horrible from a critic point of view, but the younger me didn’t know/care about that. I revisited it a couple years ago and it remains so fun that we can forgive everything else. And for that, this movie will always have a place in my heart. Bat-Clooney is 100% coming to the collection. As for Robin, still deciding if I get this or the Forever one. Cheers!

The Robin from this will be my first and likely only hot toys figure I get because 10 years ago when I first found out about hot toys I told my self that I'd probably never pick one up because I couldn't justify the price for versions of characters I only kinda liked unless it was this Robin because I have so much nostalgia for this movie, can't wait for the release!

I am very excited for these figures. I also am hoping they get the colors correct as well. As a true batman costume nerd I am all about accuracy. Both the suit look very very close to correct. I would love a Panther suit and the ice suits but that may be pushing it, Thank you for these videos.

If the point of sixth-scale figures is posing them, then it's just baffling that these figures are guaranteed to be damaged by posing. Better off buying a few statues in the poses you want.

Exactly, if you are making an action figure that can be put in a variety of poses and is wearing an outfit, the outfit has to be durable, that’s common sense. At this point they should just make statues or busts, because these clowns do not know how to make the outfits durable. The durability of these figures feels like an afterthought

@Slam_duncan03 some things are definitely an afterthought. Other things I think are definitely dictated by budget, and what Hot Toys thinks the customer will be willing to pay. And of course a lot is dictated by the creators of these characters, who probably never think about whether a character's outfit will work in sixth scale

I see both sides. Aesthetically they are almost perfect and they can pull off crazy poses. It's just that you can't leave them in those poses. The real screen used urethane costumes if left in dynamic poses on display would also deteriorate in the same way.
