She's absolutely stunning, I definitely agree that the body seems new, Letitia Wright has a very slim figure and her head did seem a bit bigger with the costume/mask on so the proportions are near perfect imo.

That pose at the end with her holding the spear, unmasked while holding her helmet/ mask in other hand is a peach. Really nice figure. I wouldn’t be against owning this. Solid review. The material bunching at the hip did look odd and made me a little worried of how it would last long term. Saying that, likely I would have her in a straight leg pose so would avoid that complication. She’s a very sophisticated and beautiful figure.

I've been on the fence on buying this Shuri. Her original figure is one of my favorites. It's not often the female Hot Toys figures have both double jointed arms and legs. I do like that this unmasked head sculpt doesn't have the face paint the other does. Interesting that there isn't a name plate. It's too bad we aren't getting any other figures from the movie like Namor or M'Baku or even Ramonda.

Your description of tchaka is spot on. I just love that suit design since it looks so unique. The sash just adds so much color to a dark suit plus the gold highlights are great. I loved it so much i modified a tchalla mezco one to look like that design.

I wasn't really a fan of the movie, just feels like the movies peaked with Endgame, then dropped off after mostly. However, this looks pretty good and something I never understood about female figures is the super weird hip areas they have where the legs connect to the body, but this one, finally, looks very realistic. That folding is gross though I also completely agree with what you said about the panther heads, they do look more Chinese I don't get why Hot Toys hasn't been giving even pairs of hands, is it really THAT hard to digitally mirror a sculpt? (I assume it's digitally)

What didn’t you like? It’s an amazing movie and it did the impossible. Namor and Talokan was a huge threat without a black Panther for Wakanda till the end. The plot was way more intense than the first to me. And Letitia acted her ass of as Shuri!

@@katarinaserbentas honestly I barely remember and I think that's my problem. I just found it kinda boring and forgettable. There were aspects that were cool but I don't remember much. Maybe I'll give it another chance someday but I just couldn't get invested in it. I'm glad you enjoyed it though.

@@katarinaserbentas Shuri didn't have a particularly well written character arc, the Iron Heart armor being built for the 3rd act just to be shelved for Riri's TV show is both odd and forced, Namor spends the 1st act threatening to kill Wakanda if they don't kill the scientist for him... but proceeds to send his own people to kill the scientist anyway, also... Namor's people now know what Riri looks like and can track her down even as she's flying and shooting drones down in the sky onto the police Doc Ock SM2 style... and for some reason when Shuri tells them to not kill Riri... they don't... and also Namor doesn't kill Riri either (he's instead waiting for Shuri to let him kill Riri). ...and did I mention Namor's entire plot here revolves around killing Riri (the scientist!) to avoid his people being discovered, but at the same time he's planning to reveal himself to the world and destroy it anyways (using his magical water balloons). Also, Wakanda now has guns that instant kill NotAtlantians... and don't use them the rest of the film... and also Angela Bassett is now dead to save Riri (her plot-armor is stronger than Vibranium...) and to give Shuri a reason to fight Namor rather than kiss him. Wakanda Forever was rewritten in relatively short order after Chadwick's death and you can feel it act to act both in Shuri's dialogue, the plot-gun that kills Namor's people never being used after, a plot about General Ross' son that goes NOWHERE, and Namor's bizarre choice to chase down Riri through acts 1 and 2 for reasons I can't understand. Its okay for people to like the movie, but I don't get the effort here to push everyone saying they don't like it here into liking it.
