Very good! We've caught it on the fly! If Hot Toys releases Darth Malgus, they should consider releasing Satele Shan and also Shae Vizsla as Legends figures. And of course Darth Malak who is another very interesting figure to keep in mind in The Old Republic (Legends) Collection. Characters from the most iconic and well-made Cinematic Videos in a very long time and who still have a lot of interest from many collectors. It's a vein that Hot Toys could not waste since it has already started to release several characters.

Man I don’t believe this. It’s only January and I’ve already spent what I wanted to in a year on the stormtrooper dewback set. Then I had to get a squad leader trooper to go with those. Thought to myself “I can relax now. This years toys are sorted.” Now I’m watching this!!😱. I am but a humble plumber sir. Thankfully a single one. This guy looks nuts. Revans hood put me off the whole figure. I thought he’d be my best. It’s the only hood that I’ve had problems with. This malgus one looks pretty ok in comparison. I mean I’m 100% stealing that pose. That is a serious centre piece.

Yep.Justin you are right. The fact that Darth Revan is wearing a hood is a flaw that Hot Toys cannot afford. In addition, the seam is quite strong and not fine, which makes the figure look strange and difficult to get it right. In this case, with Darth Malgus there is no such problem. Since there is no seam on the hood, it is much better.

I have heard you talk about button cell batteries versus USB. Can you explain what the issues are with the buttons? I believe you mentioned short life. I generally don't like running wires up my figures, or have a set up on my shelves to support numerous USB connections. Is there a video showing a good setup and gear for that? As for Malgus, looks like a good figure and appreciate Ryan as always.

Yep the short life, they require you to open a compartment to flick the power switch and they leak over time corroding the contacts and ruining figures. USB often has zero issues like that

It is assumed that in a company, in this case Hot Toys, they have a specific Department for evolutions and improvements in figures and accessories... well, I see that they are still using the failed USB cable with a lightsaber light effect that is worse than mediocre, without shine and without enough energy, making it useless to be able to deploy figures with their lightsabers with bright and well-lit lights... and Hot Toys continues with this issue in all the new figures. The system is very tacky, the light, the little or no shine in the lightsabers, make the figures lose their credibility and their final purpose, to deploy them with all their splendor with the lightsabers in full light and shine. It is a shame that Hot Toys persists in this failed solution and insists on Jedi and Sith figures, which are undoubtedly the most iconic and significant figures in this Star Wars Universe that differentiate any other Saga from any other kind. Hot Toys must improve, make progress and evolve. Do not devolve useless mechanisms and devices... a waste of time and talent and a significant loss in the final quality of the figures... They must evolve, not devolve... according to Darwin and his theory of Evolution, whoever adapts to their environment will survive, whoever does not, is destined not to... Hot Toys, be careful with your theory, you are wrong... it is a reflection because I love the figures and the Star Wars universe since 1977 and I have been collecting since 1980 with the ESB episode, mythical Kenner figures, and for 20 years 1:6 Star Wars figures....
