It probably got delayed so much due to licensing issues. WWE would most likely own the rights to Dave Bautistas likeness for their own figures of him and that is why the figure got delayed whilst hot toys and to work out the licensing for him.

It's about time, it's better than getting nothing, i'm so glad Drax The Destroyer is released to complete the team, i like how it captures the accurate likeness of Dave Batista, and another best part is someone who got this figure said it's NOT plastic but it felt hard and the arms is not seamless, the reason why is because Gamora figure's elbow part got torn and worn off

I've seen the movies plenty of times, and regardless of what James Gunn says Drax was supposed to be, he is definitely more green ON SCREEN. Watch the movie, look at still shots, etc... he is green in the vast majority of scenes.

Hmm...I don't remember there being ANY grey on them. Drax should be straight muted green. Hot Toys made a real boo boo. Plus they made the figure tooo small. Way to insult Batista by removing 50 lbs of muscle on there figure.

Ever since the prototype images surfaced, everyone was saying that this Drax was no where near broad/muscular enough and it should have an angrier face, but Hot Toys obviously don't listen to the folks that line their pockets. I think they've blatantly taken the p*ss with this shapeless, grossly misproportioned bucket of a*se, and they should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves. An easy pass for me.
