I sadly was not able to pick one of these up for retail price but I did only pay $400 for it so for it being sold out for this long and becoming more uncommon I felt it was a decent price, it’s such a great looking figure!

Fun fact: his "dagger" is actually a military/infantry issued plug bayonet that was placed inside the bore of a large caliber smooth bore musket during the early part of the 1700s! They were replaced with the more recognizable slender, 3-sided bayonet that attached externally, which then allowed the wielder to fire whilst also having bayonets affixed!

The 5th POTC film retconned the original lore for Jacks' compass, which was stated in POTC 2 Dead Man's Chest (film and novelization) when Tia Dalma asked Jack: "That Compass you bartered from me can't lead you to this?" After Jack had asked for her help in finding the key to the chest of Davy Jones. In "Dead Men Tell No Tales," Jack's dying captain gives the magical compass to him, telling him it will point to what you want most, despite what was clearly stated previously!

As was revealed in the 3rd POTC film "At World's End," Captain Teague (a.k.a. Jack Sparrows' dad) gives Jack a shrunken head when Jack inquired about his mother, but it looks differently than the accessory you showed, as even I had a 1:1 scale replica prop shrunken head as a kid that came with a higher end Captain Jack Sparrow Halloween costume kit, and I've currently got it hanging in my window now, and the mouth is sewed shut with two small wooden stakes piercing through both lips, as well as eyelids being sewn shut and long greyish white hair, not to mention different color skintone!!

His "monkey paw" is actually a tarred chicken foot, used commonly in voodoo/hoodoo to ward off evil spirits and protect against theft/burglary, amongst other things! I've got one myself!

Don’t know if you’ll still reply mate, but I’ve got two options: this or the dx06 jack. The dx06 is quite a bit cheaper and I quite like the head sculpt on that one, however, I love the base that comes with the dx15 and the head sculpt is still great. What should I go for?

I actually canceled my order on the 1/4 joker since I didn't have 1/4 Batman so I bought the arkham city batman for my arkham joker instead, but I honestly don't think they are even going to care about putting pers on the new 1/4 joker or put rooted hair I just think Howard Chan has become corrupt and I can imagine him rubbing his hands when he sees the sales for some of the new figures. When he first started he had passion for his company but now he not only has control over his company but peoples wallets
