Awesome Predator! Great review, love the little trophy skulls and leather strings and extra detail this one has, I only got the city hunter from Predators 2 but I think I'll get the new jungle hunter to fill the void in my collection, I would love to get my those 1/4 predators from neca as well, they look impressive

I cant recommend the NECA 1/4 scale version enough, it will be coming up for review on the channel soon and spoiler alert….it’s amazing! and represents great value for money as well. This piece has held up incredibly well! Looking super. Most certainly worth the grail status. That being said - I don't, however, appreciate what I saw Hot Toys do with the new ''2.0'' ''Jungle Hunter''. They just decided to take the lazy route with it. It's just the Classic Predator from Predators. Probably a ton of reuse. Looks more or less the exact same. Most definitely not a true 2.0, and certainly not the '87 JH. I would be more okay with it, if they just labeled it as the Classic. Hoping it was just a placeholder. They may have cared about this IP back in the day, but I'm not so sure, anymore. I feel like they just treat people like idiots. ''They'll buy anything.'' Anyway, that was my two cents on that. I appreciate the review! Very informative and your close-ups of everything are very welcome. Cheers!!

The cynic in me see’s recycling due to a lack of ideas and IP’s in order to cash in on the aftermarket prices of “grail” pieces, with no real 2.0 improvements. (the recent Catwoman release is a prime example) I dont know if its just me getting old and nostalgic but the quality and attention to detail just seemed to be so much better back in the day. Great video as always! But I can't believe you gave a 10 out of 10 score to the Classic Predator figure! This figure is not worth a 10 out of 10 score in my opinion (and also many of hardcore Predator fans' opinions). First, the unmasked face is absolutely inaccurate and looks ridiculously terrible (it doesn't resemble Classic Predator or Jungle Hunter at all). Also, the mask is inaccurate as well. Hot Toys has always been inaccurate with their Predator figures in terms of face and mask while Neca and Prime 1 Studio always did a fantastic job. It will be beyond ridiculous if they recycle the Classic Predator figure parts onto their coming-soon Jungle Hunter 2.0 😑

Thanks for your comments and supporting the channel its much appreciated 👍🏻 Although I have a number of Predator figures and statues in a variety of different scales I definately wouldn’t describe myself as hardcore on the subject. Imo describing this figure as ridiculously terrible is a bit harsh..…I go on what's in front of me but I realise its all subjective and its just my opinion, and opinions vary. Like you I’m hoping HT don’t just recycle this version for their 2.0 version (the same goes for the battle damaged T-800) but with their track record recently in 2.0’s I’m not holding my breath. I agree this is such a special figure isn’t it🔥I enjoyed the movie I must admit was surprised at how good Adrien Brody was as Royce and loved the idea of predators fighting themselves… much like humans unfortunately 🙁. The figure is so well detailed and as you mentioned a real 💪 flex from hot toys . Hard to imagine a 2.0 being so very much better there would be any need for you to pick it up!. Thanks for sharing your, thoughts and love the new lighting👍. Whilst I don’t have any new figures coming in this weekend I do admit I bought myself a cool collectible during the week …. Don’t laugh but I am having a go at building the JAWS Lego set😂 seen it in the window of the Glasgow Lego store and it looks fantastic, so had to pick it up😂 haven’t had Lego since about circa 1978 😂 so this could be a very long project😅, wish me luck, have a great weekend and as always mind how you go 👍

Thanks as always for the comments and support its much appreciated 👍🏻 honestly I’m not the biggest fan of Predators the movie and got this one to futz into a an orginal Jungle Hunter Pred as the first offering from HT was off imo. I’m a little suspicious of the current spate of V2.0 figures….the cynic in me sees HT recycling figures due to lack of ideas and IP’s and wanting a slice of the silly aftermarket money that “grail” pieces command by devaluing them with new versions. I might just be getting old but sometimes it seems to me HT are not putting in the same love and attention to detail they did a few years ago. No laughing about Lego here Sir….its amazing stuff! I saw some pics of the Jaws diorama and it looks fanatastic😮 I’m a huge Jaws fan…a classic. Lego do some amazing work, I have managed to avoid the rabbit hole becuse I know where it will lead 🤣 Enjoy the build and remember dont go walking around with nothing on your feet🤣 Take care of yourself and happy building and collecting.
