Too bad Kenobi showed them as just standard Trooper with cooler armor. They have so many cool weapons and accessories In Books, comics and games.

i just wish they let them do… literally ANYTHING in the show. dont get me wrong plenty of characters and designs have become beloved after one minor scene or clip, but these guys really didn’t get a single moment.

Cool figure but really skimpy on the accessories. Couldn't included the airborne trooper helmet and a melee weapon, so people can use for both the Kenobi display or Jedi Survivor display. And HT could've sold more more figures!

So from what I’ve gathered with this figure, I decided to take him apart and compare him to our most current clone trooper release by hot toys. I noticed the plastic in the armor on the Purge Trooper is a lot thinner. That would be a reason why he feels a lot lighter but also why the torso moves around so much. I personally don’t like how thin the armor is because it makes him feel cheap to me and just feels really fragile. I love his shelf presence, but as a figure himself I’m not a fan.

Best trooper from an aesthetic perspective. I'm going to have Vader marching forward with his cape billowing, making a fist, with his lightsaber in his other hand, with two of these guys flanking him on either side. That's the dark times baby!

When I first opened the figure... I was impressed! After messing with it for a bit, I found quite a few things that I don't like. This figure feels like Hot Toys rushed this out too fast! Thin loose armor is my biggest complaint.

Yup.. they surely rushed it.. belt, chest armor loose.. pauldron feels cheap compared to stormtroopers.

Love that fig. I always though the nice darkish/shiny red on the visor and on the arm band looked great. And the nice shiny black on the oufit in helmet looks nice. And I’m glad HotToys has moved on from doing loose capes and other stuff so you can actually pose the cape. Maybe a pose of the trooper in the desert with his cape in a pose. Otherwise nice video!

I love to see the Purge Trooper helmet on Darth Vader just to see if it would have worked, regardless that is a brilliant looking figure, no matter what show it's from!

Beautiful figure. I have seen other reviews and people say that it's very lightweight and the plastic is very thin. It really doesn't matter, because it's a display piece.
