The Crow is my first Hot Toys ever. Plan to never let it go. Gonna make a few enhancements, but not as much as you did. I’ll get a better material coat and pants. Great video, as always, Justin. I would like to have weekly BAF episodes! 😃 Cheers!

My hot toys crow was only touched to pose and even in the best environment that jacket is disintegrating like a Thanos snap lol. At least it still goes with the overall look. You've got the best of both worlds. Oh, one commentary said the crow is the bird and Eric is just Eric. Brandon would be proud.

Nicely done! I did the same thing w/ the HT headsculpt, but I replaced the whole body w/ a phicen Bruce Lee type. I also used white chalk to mimic his pale body in a shirtless version. The proportions came out great! It's in my top 10 favorite custom video if you want to see it. We should stream soon and talk figures...let me know, would be an honor.

Good kitbash also to answer your question its just what the comic is called Eric Draven isn't called or specifically called "The Crow" in the movie or book he's not called anything by the gang members only people who knew him explain in the movie specifically know him by name and call him by his name. Its just more so a spiritual aspect that the crow brings back those from the dead even guides them through their journey hence the name. Big difference too in the movie if you injure or kill the crow Eric loses his powers and dies but in the comics the crow isn't even fully present or doesn't hold any real affect plus its only viewed by Eric normal people can't see or interact with it.

If I had an extra sideshow head I’d try and paint it myself. Do you just paint it with a certain type of paint? Do you seal it or just leave it ? Thanks for the video.

Thank you! I just used model air paint which is used for airbrushes but also works really nicely thinned out with a brush. Practice first before trying though!

Great job!!! Looks awesome! My Hot Toys Crow figures pleather is all flacked out! He looks horrible! There’s flack all over the display. It gets me angry and sad! And I can’t find replacement clothing! Again great job making your ideal Crow. But next week Hot Toys will announce their Artisan Super DX version with 3 heads all movable eyes, real hair, real leather, 3 crows in three different positions with sound effects and two diorama sets. Window backdrop and fire escape for crouching pose. All weapons, wedding ring 30 pairs of hands, extra electrical tape for redressing, guitar and all accessories from previous version. Exclusive is a really 1:1 Crow feather which was held by the voodoo villainess in the movie! All for $1500.00 USD!! 😂 But wait Inart will announce their version six months later, with 5 head sculpts, 50 sets of hands, 4 leather jackets, 4 leather pants all accessories will be real metal, real working guitar, 4 diorama sets, Apt window set, real metal fire escape with window serving as two sets, Funboys bed room and the eavesdropping scenes with the crow on his shoulder. And cemetery set with open or closed grave. Exclusive set will include a have 5 figures! One Eric Draven half undressed no make up to be used as he craws out of the grave!
