To be fair the InArt version sculpt and tailor wise look a bit more on point then what is being shown from HT. However I would not fault anyone for jumping in and getting either the artisan or sculpted HT's Joker especially if it is cheaper then InArt and u aren't forced to have two or 4 versions of the fig vs. just the one. U know how it goes. The real proof will be when both are released. Thanks for vid!

Remember when Inart said the reason its so expensive is WB 's minimum to make them is set to 1k... yup.

@@optical20yea its plausible since InArt is still new to the game WB gave them the stipulations John stated they were given regarding making the figure while Hot Toys being proven vets were able to negotiate a different deal to make their Joker. Could also be InArt straight up lied. But why? And Hot Toys may have been sitting on the license since the first Joker movie and decided "now" to produce the fig. Again why? We may never know the truth to be honest. Regardless. Competition helps the consumer. JND where you at? Where's your 5k USD rendition of this Joker? 😁

Nothing wrong with both or getting hot toys . Inart and hot toys is like Ferrari and ford. Different customer base . High quality and the other is quantity Only thing about hot toys is that their prototype headsculpt always look good compared to their mass produce release . People never realize this . Their mass produce heads are never accurate . Excluding Tom hollands Spider-Man release their head sculpt have been misses

My inart joker would disagree between prototype and final product. Same with aragorn. Hot toys has the typical 5-10% downgrade from the prototype with the exception of some

I remember you had a bad experience with joker and it’s okay to have different opinions . Its okay to dislike one company and only prefer one over three other . I collect both inart and hot toys and I personally believe inart joker and Patman is superior to hot toys . I truly believe inart is superior when it comes to details and quality but inferior when it comes to release time frame

Very unexpected figure announcement. Both Hot Toys versions look fantastic. Great sculpt, tailoring and display. I feel that a smiling face would have been the ultimate addition to this figure. What a crazy morning from Hot Toys. Thank you for the preview video. Happy collecting. ✌

So a couple things here. I agree with you about rooted hair. It’s completely overrated and a pain to make it look right and simultaneously accurate to how it looks in the film. The only thing I find strange is you had a bad experience with a company once and now you write off everything they do? That seems a bit silly considering that there is no patterns of issues that are indicative of the normal experience people have with Inart. Also good or bad customer service has no baring on the quality of the figure. I wanted to hear your honest opinion and break down of which figure you thought looked better and provided more value for the money. I guess my point is I’m interested in your opinions as a collector bc you have some of the best takes in the community. So I’m just disappointed that I did get the really interesting break down I was hoping for but sour grapes about an experience that bares no significance to which figure is better.

The pattern is out there, you just need to open to them, have you seen Keco collects video today? our how it is widely known that later batches of inart dips in quality? Or the batch system? In short quality wise, after owning one, I can say they are not worth the hassle and the price they are asking for. "Also good or bad customer service has no baring on the quality of the figure" - If you are getting a perfect figure sure, but it isn't. What makes sideshow so compelling to buy is that their level of customer service is great. You can argue about the price, shipping tax etc. but their customer service is great. Quality goes out the window if yours comes defective, and trust me I am not the only one who suffered a defective one. I am the only one though that made a video about it.

@@optical20 I have seen QC issues but every company has a certain amount of issues. Hot Toys, Amazon, Walmart but I think what you’re getting at is their customer service is lacking but again that’s not the consensus but a minority of people. But even if we completely agree on Inart being a bad customer service company and most their figures are having defects and problems it still doesn’t give me an interesting perspective on which figure is a better product, hot toys or Inart. And I just want to emphasize the only reason that I wanted that breakdown from you is because I find your opinions and thoughts to be well informed and intriguing. It just seems most discourse about comparing figures always comes down to which company is better operated instead of the quality of the prototype/final. I did see Keco video and it was all speculation and conjecture with no actual facts. And I think collectors need to stop getting upset about behind-the-scenes operations when they have no actual idea what’s going on.
