You may already know this by now, but that little loop on the sheath isn't a belt loop; it's for the 'sageo,' the chord you usually see tied elaborately around the sheath when a sword is displayed. While the sageo can be used to secure the sword to the waist, it's not really meant for that, being merely a convenient way to carry cordage, much like the small knives often stored in the sheathes being for small mundane tasks for which a sword would be inappropriate. When the samurai rode into battle, they used dedicated mountings called 'tachi koshirae,' which were designed to let the sword hang edge down, as well as better-distributing the weight..

I love it. The only bad thing is that I don't like the mustache. In some angles it looks exactly like Hugh Jackman, but I must agree that the Marvel Select looks more like him. Overall, this is one of the best Hot Toys ever.

To be honest Shartimus. Hasbro invented the term "Action Figure" when they first released G.I.Joes Back then G.I. Joes looked like Barbie soldiers an they wanted to sell to boys so instead of calling it dolls they called them Action figures. Now a days figures are great sculptures with articulation so that's why it feels like the meaning has changed but they really are dolls. Man dolls.

Hey man, awesome review!! I'm so bummed out I slept on this figure, definitely going to utilize every resource I can to get this figure... Shartimus met Bruce Campbell at a convention and was part of bruces panel on stage and they had a bit back and forth about action figures and at one point bruce did a karate kick at shartimus , very funny video check it out .
