Wow, i haven't heard this song in so long! I've always loved it, floats like water flowing down a stream. The bass notes must be where the water splashes over the rocks 😊

The guitarist and basist are from Jefferson Airplane. A lot of their work is just the acoustic guitar (Jorma Kaukonen) and bass (Jack Cassidy) as a duo, mostly with vocals (guitarist) and mainly blues adaptations such as Hesitation Blues, Candy Man and Death Don't Have No Mercy etc, and they work really well. Suggest taking a look at the self-titled album "Hot Tuna" (1970) and/or live 1969 at New Orleans House, Berkeley CA. They are a really good listen, especially if you like bass and blues.

Love Jorma, what an incredible finger stylist...he and Jack are keeping that style of music alive, the rootsy blues, Americana, whatever you want to call it, when they play acoustically. And then they can go electric and dive into the blues as well

This is a beautiful and subtle song, deftly played by Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Cassidy (bass). I have seen a number of your videos and love how you are open to all kinds of experiences in music.

I left this same message elsewhere but I'm very happy I got to listen to your reaction to King Crimson Fracture twice, and I think Mr. Fripp needs to relax. Enough already.

Hot Tuna is still touring in 2024.

I am going to add to my last comment to make a clear suggestion to opt for the Hot Tuna Live (New Orleans, Berkeley 1969) as that is simply the best to illustrate the essence of Hot Tuna at their best as a duo or two with harmonica on a few songs. The other stuff is good but but not as good as this one imo. I think you will enjoy it.

BTW I love Mr. Fripp and his wife and their channel. It's hilarious.

this song is in open G tuning; I never could figure out what these chords were until I found out it was in an open tuning and barely anyone else could figure out how to play this either, lol

I'm very happy I got to listen/watch your reaction to King Crimson Fracture, ... twice! ... and now it's gone. Mr. Fripp, enough already. Let it go.
