I ordered this and the Halo Tinted Moisturizer from Smashbox, just for fun. The only foundation I’ve used for the last six months is the Guerlain l’essentiel Natural foundation, and the only concealer I’ve used is the Dior Forever Skin Correct. I’m 45, and both products look like skin. They last all day without caking, or settling into fine lines. I sheer the foundation out by applying to my nose forehead and chin, and blending outward with my finger tips. I use the Ilia primer on the perimeter of my face, and Tarte’s Timeless Smoothing primer on my t-zone. They work together beautifully.

I bought this foundation because of this review - I’m 45 with dry skin, mild rosacea, textured skin, and light/neutral undertone. 15.5N was the one I bought and PERFECT match! I’ve been looking for an amazing foundation - my go-to light coverage is Clinique even better glow - and Sephora’s foundation blew me away. Blurring, skin-like, and working 10 hour days with a mask on it does transfer on my mask but nothing is perfect, and my skin looked good. Thanks for this video Angie!! ❤️🇨🇦😘

Tried this over my Chelle, beautiful coverage. Then did a bunch of strenuous yard work and it still looked great. What? Went significantly lighter shade than I would have predicted on line. After in store test, ended up 18.5 y. Light-Medium coverage and goes on like a dream! Stays there too! I love it, but would have never tired it if not for your channel. TY!

I bought this foundation based on Angie's recommendation and WOW! It looks natural yet it provides great medium coverage, I'm 48 with combo skin and very dry under eyes. This foundation almost gives me an airbrushed look without looking cakey, and you can't beat the price! I think I just found a holy grail! Thanks Angie!!! ❤

After watching your review of Sephora Best Skin Ever, I decided to try it. It was a hot mess on my face (I had used CeraVe PM underneath it). I was going to return it, but I decided to try it with a different moisturizer. The 2nd time around I used Elf SuperHydrate underneath. OMG! It looked good on top of the Elf SuperHydrate!

cover girl plus olay simply ageless foundation is a drug store option for older skin, and even tho i am not older, it is the best foundation i have ever used. i have super dry skin and nothing seems to work. it is always immediately patchy or flakes off. it sucks. but this i bought on a whim and not only did i find a perfect skin tone match(hard to do for me at the drug store when it’s usually too pale or too orange) but this shit is amazing. it’s got hylarounic acid and sunscreen in it and it literally melts into the skin. doesnt cling or flake and doesn’t look makeup-y. it looks like my skin is just perfect. i was so happy i could have wept. you don’t know how long i looked for something. it’s like a cream in a compact form with a little sponge so good for on the go and touch ups and it’s just..... amazing. and affordable. also one of the only foundations i can use under my eyes to even things out before i go in with a concealer to cover the circles. it’s like a medium coverage i think. i don’t have blemishes but I do have redness and it covered it nicely. i also have a few fine lines and it didn’t settle into them at all.

Thanks Angie! I tried this foundation and I really love it too. One frustration is the silly way they try to color match you in store by holding up a glass palate next to your face with dabs of the different shades on it. The shade the employee suggested was way off. I found that the online shade matching tool is much more accurate. Anyway, thanks again!

I just tried this Sephora foundation in the color 17.5N. I have light olive skin and this match was recommended by the salesperson. The color worked out great for me! I was really hoping for a more matte finish, but I used Australian Gold tinted mineral sunscreen under it and that helped mattify the finish a bit. I also needed to build it up on my cheeks to cover old acne scars. I dusted some loose powder over it and voila! I had a semi-matte finish all day long. This stuff is really nice for $20 - although I think of it as costing $25 because you get 25ml instead of 30 like most foundations. I was using the Makeup Forever liquid foundation and realized that it was too sheer and kind of worthless for $47!

Your skin is beautiful, I was shocked when you said your age. I'm 56 and recently tried "shaving" my face and found it made a huge difference in how the foundation looked on my skin. It no longer "sits" on the hairs and just makes such a big difference in the overall look. I'm going to buy this foundation!

Same experience Angie. It definitely does not like primers. Not my HG but it is a natural looking lightweight foundation with decent coverage and at a good price point so that makes it good for every day use. With my dry skin I had to moisturize heavily first and wait to put it on, otherwise it would slide around. Sadly I don’t have time for that so it’s not my HG but might be good for someone else. I’m so happy Foundation Fridays are back! Yay!! 😁 Thank you! 🌸

I just bought elf camo concealer on another recommendation. So far I like it. I used the technique of tapping it in with a bit of setting spray. I bought Light Sand and it is a bit light, but Walgreens did not have a wide selection. The quest for macquicomplet replacement continues!

Angie, try Tarte poreless mattifying primer over your foundation just in the areas where you see foundation gather, such as smile lines. You can do this right after you finish your makeup or for touching up. It's such a thick, silicone based primer that your foundation will be unable to settle into your smile lines. I literally cannot live without this trick, no matter what foundation or tinted moisturizer I use. I do not put the primer on all over or before makeup---only on those targeted areas after I apply my makeup.

I have a little trick for helping smile lines and forehead lines...actually all winkles/lines. Before foundation, I use a small amount of concealer and rub it into the lines (thin coat, feather the edges into surrounding areas). Then I dust a little HD powder over that...let set and then apply foundation. Works well to keep the lines at bay. I do just generally use a moisturizer on my face before this trick and foundation.

I use their hyraluronic acid on a damp face (thanks for the tip Angie!!) followed by Pro Strength Urban Skin Pro Super C brightening serum, or the timeless C (also, thanks Angie!) this is all I need for beautiful, glowing skin at almost 50. At night, I use the ordinary Hyraluronic acid, followed by their argrireline, then their matrixyl. I have had no issues, and my skin has stopped it’s old lady-ness and looks really glowy, plump and firm. Lines are so diminished. Hope this helps!

OMG! Finally a color match! I’m Hawaiian/ Korean/ Caucasian and I’ve had to mix 2, sometimes three colors to get a somewhat decent color match and for the first time, found the perfect color in ONE bottle! Unfortunately, this Sephora foundation settled into every pore on my face within 2 hours. I am your skin twin and picked the same shade 25N to try, it does look much darker in the bottle than on the face so you can't choose your shade by the bottle, use their description. I only tried it once but will definitely try again today your way without primer, the BBP powder and using the CT Spray. It looks great on you!!

I know this is a nit-picky thing, but I remember being in a Sephora when this first came out, and they were touting it as being amazing and soooo affordable at $20. It *is less costly than other foundations I have purchased, but there is also less in the bottle: only .84 oz/25 ml, versus 1 oz/30 ml or more in most other foundations. It’s still a good price point, but it’s not as inexpensive as it seems if you compare apples to apples.

Im interested to hear what you think! Ive had it about a month and it most definately isnt medium coverage and I found it did not like being built up that said, i like it, i like it a lot. It seems to be very on trend with Urban Decay, Nyx, Fenty, Revlon & loreal all releasing light coverage products in the last 3 months. Over here in Australia we have a store called Mecca and they make their own products just like sephora does however their "claim" is that the products are developed by their senior creative team not private labeled. I really like their primers, the illuminating one is my favourite, it isnt very luminous but it definately hydrates and extends wear time. Its a shame you guys cant access them. We finally got Milk last week and my hydrogrip is in the mail 😀

I've been using Too Faced concealer as a foundation during quarantine. Lasts well and quick application without primer. Ready to try another foundation as vaccine helps things to open up.I'm ready to show off my great skin after a year of Tretinoin and low level LED therapy. I've been doing no primer since masking up because, well, there is no point. So I am ready to give up primer altogether. Yeah, Sephora! Seems like a go. Thanks, Angie ❤️

OK, so I picked up 25N today, and it looks SO GOOD! Also, today I found my holy grail concealer, and if you haven't tried it, it's worth a test. Dior Forever Skin Correct (2.5N). I tried it head to head with the Tarte options and Nars, and there was an undeniable difference. The finish is so silky beautiful without shine, it's easy to layer, the coverage is very good. I tried it at home over make-up (couldn't wait), and it even smoothed over areas of texture and was good for touch-ups. Only one problem.. applicator is doefoot. Container has a vacuum seal each time you turn it shut or open which I'm guessing is good to keep the product protected from the air?

I was just in Sephora the other day, and they told me they’re starting to do color match with liquid foundations as long as they come in a pump bottle. I’m definitely going to try out the best skin ever. Thanks for the nice review ! I enjoy watching all of your your videos so much !

The Kosas concealer is PHENOMINAL. My favorite concealer I’ve ever put on my face. I’m no Angie but thought I would put in my two cents. Btw I’m 39, have dry under eyes with intense dark circles. It is incredibly hydrating, perfect coverage and isn’t drying at all throughout the day.

Mixing two sunscreens or a sunscreen with foundation/moisturizer can compromise the effectiveness of the sunscreen. The best approach is to apply different products in layers.

I bought The Leveler primer. The product is good, but the packaging need a redo. It takes hand strength to get it out.
