@CryKitsume If you dash with no dash lines (called gundash in this video) you're dashing too early (before you shoot). You need to dash after the sword is out, but the timing is short so it's basically dashing at the same time you take sword out. Try using reload=scrollclic sword=scrollup, or on sidebuttons if you have them, it will allow you to reload+sword with the right hand and dash at the same time with the left hand.

For blinkdash, it's not explained too well on this video but you can check the blinkstep video to see steps in slowmotion. The "easy" way of pulling a blinkdash is to do SwordOut>Jump at almost same time, wait a bit and dash. It needs timing, but the "window" where you can blinkdash is large enough to make this easy to pull anytime. The step I use often is to time my jump after a RHS, or a RS (...) right after I hit sword-out, so I can open the next move with an easy blinkdash. (2posts)

It's the same dash as the first one done in DHS, you can see it in Ultimate's DHS tutorial too. You Reload+Sword as soon as you shoot, and dash right at the same time (slightly after in fact, it looks like d+reload+sword>d, d>d being the dash). Easy enough to use in battle as long as you're not using a dash finger to reload and/or sword.

@hotaruFR Une fois que t'as choppé ce timing t'as juste à utiliser le sword-out d'un RHS pour y caler ton jump puis blinkdash. Et bien sur après le blinkdash tu peux re-dash directement (pour enchainer avec RHS, BF etc) ce qui devrait pas te poser de problème avec la main gauche libre.

There are other BlinkDashes, for example, blockrush>blinkdash or simply jump>blinkdash but the "window" where you can perform the blinkdash is very short and needs difficult timing. I found a way to perform a double dash DBF too, doing: bf>blinkdash>dash>bf but the timing is very hard and you have do the first bf very close to ground, so it's only a showoff move I guess.

@Assassunn Bha si tu fais clic droit avec l'auriculaire ça pose pas de problème. Sinon, comme tu peux affecter deux touches a chaque trucs tu peux laisser A en 2eme touche sword au cas ou t'as un mauvais réflexe, tu perdras l'habitude de l'appuyer progressivement comme ça (vu que ça sera plus fatiguant a appuyer tu perdras vite l'habitude). Et ton 2eme shotgun je te conseil un truc genre CTRL ou ALT, ça prend du temps a réapprendre mais ça te laisse libre les doigts qui dash. ^ ^

@Assassunn J'ai arrêté GunZ mais je peux toujours te conseiller si t'as des questions hésite pas. Pour latedash ça peut être dur au début d'apprendre à jouer avec de nouvelles touches mais essaye avec reload=clic molette et sword=molette vers le haut. Tu pourras dash+reload+sword en même temps comme ça. T'as juste à cliquer sur la molette en la faisant tourner en même temps et tu dash avec la main gauche.

@hotaruFR Néanmoins petit problème avec CTRL, soit c'est ma main qui tient pas le coup ( D: ) et du coup mon doigt passe aussitôt sur la touche SHIFT... soit il faut que je remplace ctrl par shift mais alors j'vois plus trop comment butterfly... il me restera plus que T à moins que .... middle button pourrait faire l'affaire ! ^^ Merci encore d'm'avoir répondu :D

@Vlammende If you want to see these on ijji, my latest videos are performed on ijji. This is made in a pserver, I used these so I can use training shotguns and not have to reload every 10shots. Delay and everything is the same as ijji :p

Yeah, most keyboard don't support multiple keypress at once ( razers don't either btw ). That's another reason why I switched reload & sword to mouse.

@hotaruFR (suite) Si t'utilises ton auriculaire sur le clic droit tu peux laisser reload sur clic droit et juste intervertir sword et un des weapons. Ta config permet de RS confortablement mais te ralenti pour tout les mouvements rapides (rss etc). Hésite pas à changer, j'ai fait changer de config plein de gens et la plupart a su latedash le jour même. Ya juste un petit temps d'adaptation négligeable devant le temps gaché à apprendre des techniques avec une config pas optimisée.

@hotaruFR FBS c'est tout simple, comme DHS sans latedash. Plus en détail, jump+slash+weap > shoot+reload+sword > RHS avant de toucher le sol. Blinkdash je te conseille celui de la video 4 avec RHS c'est le seul "utilisable". Tu t'entraines au timing sword-out>jump>wait>blinkdash. C'est important car le sword-out permet de rendre le timing du blinkdash beaucoup plus facile. Le jump pendant l'animation sword-out.

If you use right clic to block, try : sidebutton1 = reload sidebutton2 = sword Or if your right clic is still flip, try changing flip to a keyboard button and use maybe : middleclic = reload rightclic = sword The point is to press both in 1 press, try placing your finger in a way that it press both. A config like this makes it much easier.

Hi, in fact to learn latedash RHS you have to learn latedash, so you have to train the first part, from 0:00 to 0:037 you can see slowmotion and difference between gundash/latedash. Once you master it you simply start with a dash to perform a latedashRHS. The url in the video description is a tutorial, you'll probably have to change your key config tho.

@AniseCosmo Moi en gros je mettais la vitesse la plus rapide avec laquelle j'arrivais encore à aim. Si la souris est trop rapide t'arriveras pas à aim donc ça sert à rien car c'est quand même le plus important, et si elle est trop lente ça peut être handicapant car t'auras du mal à te retourner par exemple... Il faut juste trouver le bon compromis.

This control setup looks epic, I've been thinking about different setups for a while now, some people switch sword with scroll, some reload with scroll, some rebind weapon switch to the mouse, right click block seems to be a given, this setup combines every idea quite well, the mouse I have isn't great for scroll wheel usage though ( my old one was better actually ). I wonder if you tried default controls then switched to this for more efficiency.

I probably use more advanced combo/moves than him during fight but that doesn't make me stronger ^^; I watched your tutorial, yours shows latedash too, it's main use is for DHS, I forgot to add that in the first part of my video. I have a few old records fraps'ed I could upload to show what these moves look like during combat I guess.

I started with default but the index finger presses like 10keys per second, while other fingers press at most 2keys per second. So whenever I was learning a new move I'd search for the optimal config before learning the move. I changed my config a lot, because often when you optimise the config for a move, it'll make another move complicated. I believe this config is optimal, at least for me. It cover every kstyle move that I use to make them easy for the finger. ^^

Il te suffit de changer: Reload = scroll clic Sword = scroll up Avec que ces changement c'est suffisant, sinon ma key config complete est un peu partout dans les commentaires de cette video ^^

Most people use Scroll Up for Sword, Scroll Down For Guns, Use right click for block, and attack on left click, and clicking the scroll for reload. But it's possible to learn with. If you only have right click as block and everything else default (Like Me) you can still learn it... Proof being me =P

When I teach people ingame I don't say anything that isn't in the text tutorial and they usually learn it within an hour training including mastering new config. And a lot of people learned it without my help. I insist on changing key because from experience people not wanting to change key will not find the timing in a long time due to being too busing pressing keys fast. You can do it with default but in the end you'll be slower than someone who changed their keys.
