On one of the occasions when Katt was locked up he was brought to the precinct where I worked. We feed him because we knew they were fu%kin with him. He sat up front with us & he was just so solid. One thing I've noticed in Katt's interviews is, he has the unparalleled ability to relate to others. He stated he doesn't do these to promote anything, and he only talks to people he actually respects and wants to talk to. It shows, because he understands and appreciates their craft well enough to relate it to his own. That shows how much he respects the interviewers. It's obvious that he watched them as a fan beforehand, otherwise, he wouldn't be able to make such accurate comparisons. It's jarring when looking at the physical difference between Katt and Mike when you realize Katt IS the Tyson of comedy. As different as they appear to be, they are cut from the same cloth. Absolute masters of their craft.

The levels of respect, patience, and humility Katt Williams has is so very clear here. My 1st time tuning in because i had no idea Mike had a podcast. Seeing Mike Tyson high as hell is hilarious.😂 But, also endearing because he becomes so sentimental about his family the higher he gets. My favorite part was clearly hearing Mike use the "N word" early on in the convo and then he got on a soapbox about NOT using the word then dropped the word at least a dozen more times before the interview ended. 🤣 I appreciate Katt gently correcting the brotha with that beautiful voice when he kept saying "Lil'". I'm not a proponent of that word especially when speaking of someone's accomplishments and hard work. If not for Katt, it would have been difficult to sit thru the entire episode but I enjoyed the dynamics. I always have learned so much from Katt and his ability to remain grounded during interviews, especially with people he respects and admires. He is certainly a thermostat and not a thermometer. ❤
