The fake ones you see from google search are meant to look like the real ones. Also it would need more than just contact with normal atmosphere. Zyklon b is hydrogen cyanide mixed with a cautionary eye irritant and several absorbents like diatimacious earth and it needs a lot of heat and water to activate. It's a pesticide that is still produced and used today.

The Zyklon-B canisters are replicas, whether they realize it or not. They were sold at the 2018 Melbourne Arms & Militaria show. The man who made them, Reece, said he wouldn't make them anymore because of the controversy. It's is extremely bad taste, at best.

I live in Salt City Utah where I-80 and I-15 intercept on the West side of the Rockies only one state away. It's a long drive through rural mountainous terrain though maybe going down to I-70 to Denver is the best route though I have nothing to drive so haven't gone despite knowing about it for maybe two years. I was thinking how I might go about putting the message out to form or join carpooling groups to do road trips like this? Of course one could fly there and rent a car, but not so easy and affordable. I found it far easier, cheaper, and straight forward to fly to Europe and rent cars when I was in my 20's though you don't always need a car over there most of the time. America's always said NO to me despite no accidents, criminal background, and actually being born in the US citizen which is nonsensical.
