Never have I heard a celeb, let alone a comedian that i am a fan of, talk about the anxiety alcohol correlation and how to work through it. Iv been dealing with almost the same thing, alc takes away anxiety, comes back 2 times harder the next day so you drink again, So on and so on. Iv been slowly pushing through. I honestly feel so much better knowing a successful person struggles with the same problem I have. what shows even even more truth to me is, i didnt think Normand was an anxious guy, he always seems more confident than most other people iv seen. Anyway, Thank you Normand.

@Calilou52

This definitely depends on the persons mental health, especially anxiety which Mark openly struggles with. It might help with confidence to be boozed up on stage, but when you wake up sober the next day, if youre an anxious person, that whole past night is gonna flood your memory and youre gonna think way too much about mistakes you made or whatever it may be bc drinking + stress + anxiety disorder = morning anxiety attack Its also just way harder to keep track of whats going on and makes you less aware of the crowd which some comics like, but most dont bc the awareness of the crowd is what allows you to sharpen your sword but gauging reactions to certain lines in certain bits

thank you so very much for making this video and sharing this with us. ⚠️ the only problem with this video is that all the comedians who you interviewed, their names are not included in the description. it would be really great if you had a breakdown of each comedian who spoke with you and the times, because as far as I can see when clicking on the video you only list Cedric the Entertainer and two other comedians while the other comedians who spoke are not mentioned. You didn't list Marc Normand or the comedian after him, who is that comedian?
