In this keynote talk, Victor gives an overview of how hardware is changing to keep up with the challenges presented by increasingly complex AI models. Power management and efficiency have become primary design goals, with new innovations appearing in areas like dataflow architectures, quantization and other model compaction techniques, new packaging technologies, interconnect improvements, and so on in order to keep up with AI computation requirements.
