He is probably one of the only characters I like in the show I'm not a fan of the leaving the lore behind like I don't get what they are doing with aicent character anymore 💙

We all have to agree on one point: Aegon is not a good person. He's been a horrible brother to Aemond, an unworthy husband to Haelena and his vices have cause suffering to many people (Dyana and other women and his illegitimate children). But, on the other hand, he didn't want the crown: he told himself that he wasn't good for that role. He wanted love from a mother who didn't love him properly and from a father who didn't love him enough. His grandfather wanted to reign by use him as a puppet. Since he took the crown, he has known only suffering: his son was murdered, his brother tried to kill him, his body is destroyed.
