Nicky was invited to visit The Manor House Wing at the Rosewood London - one of the biggest hotel suites London. Jean, on the other hand, stayed in the Z Hotel - one of the smallest.

To be fair, since the Rosewood has 7 rooms (or 8 if I'm not mistaken), which are fairly large for London, if it were to be pushed to its limit and accomodate triple occupancy per room meaning 21 or 24 people dividing the cost it would come out to around $850-900 per person. Definitely not cheap but a fairly decent price for a luxury hotel of Rosewood's caliber.

Considering rent in a shared house in London is 700-1200, it is a better deal than house sharing haha. As long as you don't mind squeezing more into a room!

The Z Hotel Room was big compared to my room in Hong Kong :D There you could take a shower whilst on the toilet... (and of course everything was wet afterwards, had to save the toilet paper outside first)

Sometimes it's nice to treat yourself. For example, I would likely go for the Shangri-la Hotel, because waking up on the 30-somethingth floor of the Shard would be amazing.

Why? My city in Australia is 90klm across. When you live in the outer burbs it's nice to spend a few nights at a 5 star hotel in the centre of city where the action is.

I’ve done it and plan to do it again. When going to Broadway it’s actually a 45 minute subway ride away from my house. It fine during the day but doing that at midnight after a play is really not fun. It’s better to stay at a hotel walking distance from Broadway and then go home in the morning.

I’ll take the Z any day. Mansion House is far to cluttered for my Scandinavian taste. Plus I’d be lonely (no matter how big my entourage might be). The Z could do with a desk though although I rather have a the bathroom if I must choose. The Mansions bath looks awfully nice though.

I have stayed numerous times at different Z Hotels in London (SoHo, Victoria, City, Picadilly) and I will always return. Yes rooms are tiny, but the used materials in mattresses , sheets, towels, soap, tv,, are excellent; even water pressure is unlike London. For me the biggest plus is the room being very quiet and dark at night. I have had the best nights of sleep in Zhotels , and that is what matters. Oh and the free Wine and Cheese in the afternoon is big bonus too. I am a fan.

I have stayed at the Z Hotel Victoria several times as it is a very convenient place to stay in order to catch an early morning train to Gatwick. I have stayed there both by myself and with my wife (in the slightly larger Queen room). It was fine and the breakfast was quite good (and free). The "No Window" rooms are slightly strange but hey, they all look the same with your eyes closed. Frankly, we don't spend a lot of time in a hotel room in London. Z is along the lines of Citizen M, Bloc, and Yotel - all of which we like quite a lot.

Both were pretty nice actually. If I was in London on vacation I wouldn't need 8 rooms in 6000 square feet! For the price of one night I could fly first class, stay at the Z and still have plenty of money to shop n take in the city.

There is a small hotel next to the Victoria bus station. Just on the other side of the train tracks. It has the smallest room I’ve seen. Deffeneitly smaller than the Z hotel. The shower is a separate door and the toilet is so tight you sit on the toilet bowl to use the sink and you can’t sit straight on the toilet if you are taller than 160 cm in height. It’s basically 2 decently large beds, a 60cm gap between them, a wardrobe by the legs of one bed and a cupboard between the head of the beds. It’s not all bad though, it’s 10 minutes walk from the buckingham palace and a minute away from a bike station. I was there with my mom and it was the best trip ever!

@@jen93106 Nah, I doubt you’ll find any positive reviews, it’s just a small one star hotel with small rooms and very low prices. My aunt and uncle got a room twice the size of the one me and my mom got. Unbearably hot during the day, but the breakfast was suprisingly good and you wouldn’t be staying inside otherwise than to sleep with the Buckingham Palace within 15 minutes on foot. It is right by the train tracks leading to the victoria train station though, so light sleepers should avoid staying here.

Bed, kettle, some teabags, shower, toilet, sink - what else do you need? Most annoying thing is that you can't really watch TV because the ideal seat for this sceen is actually on the toilet, but then the foggy window of the shower is in the way... A smaller screen mounted to the foot end would be a much better choice

Guys, that Z Hotel Room is a suite compared to the room I stayed in at the St Giles Hotel on Bedford Avenue in 2019. The room was at the end of a corridor and was probably 6 foot wide at most. It had a single bed and the TV was on the wall beside the bed due to lack of space. The Bathroom was directly in front of you and the shower was so small I actually stuck out of it and soaked the toilet every time I had a wash. Honestly, it was like Harry Potter's cupboard under the stairs. Go see if you can get one of those rooms and review that :)

jeans visual is no joke. he might not as good-looking as when he was in Maldives but he is still too damn good-looking. it's almost like supermodel league. A visual like that even if he was to be compared by Hollywood celebrities not many can rival that handsome face. In general population. he's probably 1 in a million.
