Gulf Air looks very snazzy with that Apex Suite cabin (I once tried the same cabin on Oman Air's 787-9 a few years back). Plus it's good that they have a couple options for using points and miles in order to book such as Etihad Guest and Air Canada Aeroplan

Good review. As a long-term Middle Eastern expat resident I can say that Gulf Air Cabin Crew (Gulfies) are the best. Gulfies are so warm & friendly and less aloof than other airline crews. Emirates & Etihad are also good airlines but Gulf Air offers better value, regardless of travel class

I've had 8 flights on gulf air a good few years ago on the A330, and it was a brilliant experience.. All in economy and all were pretty empty.. Awesome service all round, good food and drink... Planning for a trip to Sri Lanka next year and gulf are back on the list of who's gonna take me :)

Thank you for the great review! Seems to be a nice and yet fairly unknown airline. The seats remind me of the Economy and Business Class of Oman Air which offers a great product and service. I might post a review about Oman Air on my channel soon.

My first ever long haul flight was with Gulf Air. LHR, Bahrain, BKK, HKG, way back in 1988 as a 17 yr old. . I still have the amenity kit somewhere. It was a fabulous experience, crew and fellow passengers were so friendly and. Incredibly helpful. Love Gulf Air,

Oh, no! That Business Class seat looks like the awful seat used by British Airways. It's like you were in the cupboard under the stairs at grandma's house. And that TV screen, did you get opera glasses? You needed them as it's so far away. Great entertaining report from you guys, as always.

I literally flew in gulf air in falcon business class but I came on terminal 4 we stoped at Bahrain and we went to the gulf air lounge and then we landed in our destination and it was nice my first lime as well so yeah it was a good experience

The Economy experience might not have been so pleasant if the plane was full, but it still would be pretty good. The Business Class seat was really great, but I though that the meal service was a disappointment. No starter or salad? And leaving the foil cover on the plate was tacky.

Personally I wouldn't mind the foil! At least it would stay hot haha especially if you're not planning to eat straight away
