It can be a real concern, it’s a very visible correlation seen throughout KN, chefs in a negative environment can lose their passion for cooking, resulting in sub-par or inedible food. If the chef had answered “yeah a bit” Gordon would have either tried to help them find their passion again, or assess them overall and maybe have a word with the owners about a replacement

@@bigmanliam Hallucinations are no big deal, people go through psychosis and schizophrenia all the time, I was there too. Staying up takes a big toll on your body though so that why should really move around and strain yourself physically and get some fresh air and make the room dark and well-ventilated so you sleep well. I wish for the good of people that they'd start being more proactive about their health because that will make them happier. Having healthy living habits doesn't mean you can't do stuff like beer and drugs etc once in a while.

To be true, nowadays most people don't want to actively participate in things where they could embarrass themselves for getting something wrong. hahaha love watching Gordon. reminds me of my father (who before he retired was an executive chef). standards of excellence was only acceptable and he was as passionate as him. I learned a lot from my father and his passion as he stood by everything he served,,,, and still does as he still has his passion for cooking and does it for his friends. Birthday to top it off was amazing surf and turf. Seafood medley salad and to finish it off some Pavlova for desert
