And never cut anything where you have been cutting / preparing raw meat / fish before without cleaning the knives/ boards / surfaces very carefully. Edit: this mistake is often made with salad, after cutting let's say.....carrrots or potatoes, which will join the pot and cook with the meat thorroughly, so there is at least no real danger in doing it, despite it being unhygenic and in no way suitable for a cook's standards. But once this behaviour slips your mind, there comes the mistake of cutting some herbs that will not be cooked and there comes the Noro Virus or Salmonella...

Most respectful Owners and Managers who does their jobs diligently would have no problem showing off the kitchen. You don't have people actually going in inspecting or getting in the staff's way. If you're refused a peek at a kitchen its usually a sign to eat somewhere else. Me, personally, I'd have camera's in my kitchen to record the staff in case someone goes full retard and tries to put a booger in someone's food or something gross and also to show my customer's our level of professionalism with a tablet so they can see how great my team would work.
@L4sket4 жыл бұрын
@@JaybayJay That's a bit of a control freak, ain't it? Who's gonna watch that hours of footage, not you, that's for sure. @@hansdavis7335 yeah, I've been eating raw meat for some time, but I let it marinate on lemon juice to reduce the bacteria content. I think I could tank some of those places food, but that's unsure, since they leave old food to build up bacteria (hence the sauerness where it shouldn't be) and, judging by the mess of the majority of those places, it could be contamined with anything. Pork with chicken, chicken with pork, beef with fish... You can't really predict wich strains of bacteria will be in each food on those conditions... You could have high concentrations of E.Coli and salmonella on the salad of some of those places!!!

Cuz raw juice could drip onto the cooked product and if the cooked product isn't properly reheated or not reheated to 165, or cooked product is meant to be served cold and not reheated. All of those examples could potentially cause food poisoning through cross contamination. Also don't store raw food over produce or dairy cartons. Basically any raw animal products must be stored on the bottom, not on the floor, food must be stored at least 6 inches above the floor even if it's in a box or similar container. This also aplies to the freezer. No exceptions.
