The two biggest pros of the IHG program: 1. You often can buy points en masse (like $2500 for half a million points) for 0.5 cents a point. And you can often book rooms with a point value of 0.6~0.8 cents/point. 2. You can book 4 consecutive reward nights for the price of 3, giving your points a 33% boost. Combining 1 and 2, you can buy points for 0.5 cents and use them for 0.9-1.0 worth of value year around easily.

I was under the impression that the funds that come from this card to the united travel bank expire six months after you deposit them. Do you know?

How long are the United Travel Bank Credits good for? I did not know you could bank them long enough to stack them.
