I stayed at the Hotel Via Regia in Görlitz, Germany in September 2024. Two nights accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis cost me 203 Euro and 40 cents.
The hotel is located a short 5 minute walk from Görlitz railway station and is about a 25 minute walk to the city centre / old town area.
The hotel is boutique style and is a very lovely place to stay. My bedroom on the fourth floor was immaculate, a lovely and comfortable room with plump bed, comfy chairs, tea and coffe making facilities, desk and velux window. There was ample storage with drawers and a wardrobe.
The bathroom was very nice with a shower cubicle, large sink are and toilet.
On the ground floor of the hotel is reception, the bar, restaurant and an outside terrace.
The breakfast buffet offered both hot and cold options, it was extensive and excellent quality, very much enjoyed. If I was stopping in Görlitz again in future I would definitely consider staying in this hotel, it was very nice and I enjoyed my stay there.
