love the simple way you communicate your points yet detailed, especially the difference cutting with and without backing. I have not cut my first template, feeling lucky that I watched your video before cutting. thank you..

Thanks so much for your comment! Rhinestones are so much fun to use. Since making this video, I have found that the flock and transfer tape from Heat Transfer Warehouse is so much easier to use.

Go to the dollar store and buy a small bristle brush hair brush. I like the kind that is a roll looking brush to swipe the template over a trash can. You can also use a toothbrush.

hello- I am new at this, and the face of my crystals are sticky after attaching to my fabric. Any advice for fixing this isue? Ty- great vid!
@MakingwithMarilyn2 ай бұрын
The only thing I can think of is that the transfer tape you used left a sticky residue on the front. I have never had that happen. Does a warm wet cloth remove the stickiness?
@a.b.29572 ай бұрын
@@MakingwithMarilyn TYSM for responding- I did not use transfer tape. The crystals are hot-fix sheets. They are not sticky out of the package, but after attaching, the face of the crystals are sticky and attract every bit of lint, and hair sticks to it. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Ty for any advice you can give me. Maybe they are cheap? They did not seem cheap though.

nice one video for us. what size for cutting 6ss holes? and also i use other cutting machine and this machine have small display i found " speed and force" so how much speed and force i use for this flock ?
@MakingwithMarilyn2 жыл бұрын
The 6ss holes, according to Silhouette's software, should be .102 inches in diameter. I have only used a Cricut Maker, so I am not sure about speed and force. What machine are you using?

How strong is the adhesion for stones? I randomly came across your video, and like a magpie or raven, I'm drawn to all things sparkly!
@MakingwithMarilyn10 ай бұрын
The adhesion, if pressed correctly, is very good. I wash my rhinestone shirts inside out in the washing machine. Then I hang dry them. I do add them all to the dryer when they are dry or almost dry to fluff them up.

Actually I am making this product and I haven't been able to know what that back white paper is. Here in India we can't use flock because of the costing.
