I'll give you props for recycling materials, because that's exactly how they created all the models and other props for the original movies. My dad worked at the model distributor where they got all the scraps to build all the ships/craft. In fact my dad is the one they were put in contact with to get the scraps from the trash. They told him they were making a move and when he asked them what's the name and what's it about all they told him was, "it's kinda like cowboys and Indians with a touch of WWII, but in space" and that George Lucas was the writer and director. My dad told me that story so many times and I swear it never it never changed and never got old.

You know I've been watching you for what 7-8 years now? And I've got to say, you are my childhood hero. I sat in my hot ass garage for hours of my teenage years painstakingly crafting my own versions and takes of your dioramas and I have to say, thank you! You made an otherwise miserable part of my life a wonderful time.

I came across this by accident but I do love a bit of arts and crafts and whilst it’s always amazing to see the superb polished model scenes it’s really refreshing and extremely interesting to see how cheaply and resourcefully you make yours and to be honest I personally find it more interesting. The final result is extremely effective and looks so much more expensive than it actually is. You truly are the budget Jedi but as far as creativity and inventiveness goes you are a Jedi. Looking forward to more. Also would be great to see a falcon in Mos Eislsely docking bay if that’s how it’s spelt. 👍

This is beautiful! 😢 I got the notification 2 days ago at work. But, decided to wait until today, my day off, to watch with a cup of tea. Your videos are treated as especial occasions for inspiration and relaxation. Coincidentally, I got this idea to create a Yavin base diorama 4 months ago (lego minifigs and ships). I just added lights to the x-wings and y-wing. I will add sound to it too (never worked with board circuits😣) and will definitely use materials I can recycle for the base. Thank you so much for sharing your work with your community and with all of us ❤.
@TheBudgetJedi6 жыл бұрын
Thanks you're too kind. YES this is i think my longest video ever, it's good to watch when you're trying to fall asleep or just have some down time haha! Oh man, i would looove to see a lego Yavin Base. it would just look so amazing. And I love that some people make lighting kits for the lego sets, (especially for the star destroyers and millenium falcon!) I would be wary of things looking out of place with lego and possibly interfering with the continuity of the aesthetics. Im sure that's a challenge in itself. thanks for sharing that, and i hope you put up pictures or slideshow on your channel, id definitely watch that over and over again! PS I almost stole some wedge pieces of lego from my sons batch to make the floor lights before I ended up 3d printing them instead! haha.
@makitagut24726 жыл бұрын
@@TheBudgetJedi , it is a pleasure to see your work from start to finish regardless of the minutes of the video. Yes, I will use bright colors and leave the weathering completely out or to the minimum. I plan to build walls and floor (don't own a big lego collection) and building these out of lego bricks is quite expensive. The lego lights are expensive too so I am using a less expensive brand "lifelites", which can be used for many projects. I am new to youtube and even a smart phone😄. I have watched many of your videos as a none YT subscriber. I'll try my best to figure out how to work it out and share my work with you. I can see how the Lego bricks were tempting 😅. I will check with my local library about 3D printing. Imagine the posibilties?! Technology is at our finger tips. I could have never imagined myself soldering a sound board circuit before by ordering materials online😀 Thank you, and best wishes.
