Yeah, the Headhunters are extremely underrated. Iirc they could out turn TIEs in atmosphere as they had actual aircraft controls. One of the most common star fighters, yet we see non in Rebels? It’s like the lack of Victory ISDs, and just one cameo from a Dreadnought when there were tons of those things. But hey, I still absolutely love the Y-Wing, so I can’t complain too much.

I mean Rex came with them on the commando op on Endor so it's possible he happened to see the lightsaber and struck up a conversation with Luke. Hi commander I noticed the lightsaber. Rex was likely there at that celebration with the Ewoks on Endor, so I’m willing to bet Luke most likely explained everything to Rex during the celebration after Anakin’s funeral, since Rex was probably a little confused as to why Luke was cremating Vader. I can only imagine what Rex’s reaction must’ve been like when Luke told him.

@@darthgamer2014 I also remember them hovering to the flight deck of the Venators, but in those instances, the repulsors are more like wheels to taxi to the runway for takeoff. They wouldn’t really have the necessary thrust to act in a VTOL capacity. And in this instance, I’d say either a) they are damaged and can’t help, b) the output for such repulsors wouldn’t be worth the potential damage such actions would result in, or some combination of the two.
