I hate to be another cliche "The Grand Tour brought me here" poster, but I have to say that the intro was so beautifully done, in part by this song. It bridged the gap between Top Gear and this new show beautifully. I nearly had tears in my eyes, I've been waiting almost two years for Clarkson, Hammond, and May to return and they're finally back!

The opening perfectly represented the journey from Clarkson being fired to the start of the new show, and all the cars at the desert and the people already at the concert waiting for them represent all of us the fans helping them and supporting them all along this journey( so it was a thank of some sort ). It was a wonderful opening.

What a great version of this otherwise Average song? I knew the song but never got a big kick from it. But now I will always think of Jeremy smiling as his two mates came along side him, Pure Theatre! Couldn't have chosen a more perfect song for the opening of Grand Tour, I'm sure this brought grown men to tears. A true friendship, Hammond and May willing to quit the BBC in support of Clarkson, so much respect. I actually met them while on holiday in Puerto Banus while they was filming Top Gear, they signed autographs, stood for pictures and chatted away to the fans, true gents. The biggest mistake the BBC will ever make.
