one criticism that i do have is that there are a few levels with walls that are almost the same color with the background of the window pane sprites, making sightlines hard to immediately distinguish.

So, hold up. Is there actually no good ending? Is it actually possible to grab that key, and escape? Like Grayfruit obviously thought you were joking, but is there actually a way for everyone to escape, or is this part of the TF2 lore I was unaware of?

The story has nothing to do with TF2's story, it's completely disconnected. The characters are the same, but their backstories and even names differ here and there. You might have noticed there's not even a BLU team. And no, there's no good ending. You play as a room of mercenaries with incredible skills that act out seemingly unconnected jobs, and at the end, when you're not needed anymore, you bite the dust. There's a reason you get nuked, because even if you could restart (or stop) time, there's no way to escape from it (as evidenced by Engie).

Okay, so this is spoilers, so don't click on "read more" unless you want to know the ending. I know it's a Hotline Miami parody and all, but I don't really buy that neither Engie or Demo could disarm the nuke, _maybe_ Demo would've been to drunk to see color, but Engie could've had the entire thing disassembled and all of the wires cross-referenced in 90 seconds top.

Engineer could have definitely done something about it, but he was too absorbed in trying to find answers to do so. Don't forget, he had several minutes at the start of the phone call, and right as the voice said the bomb was a "farewell gift", he should have acted. But he wanted to prove that he was smart enough to figure out the conspiracy and was so desperate for answers that he stayed on the phone until it was too late. His last words even reflect that. We also can't see how much time passed between the end of the call and the few seconds you get before it explodes, so maybe he just stood there shell-shocked for most of it. But ultimately, his hubris was his downfall, just like the credits say. Demo wasn't even aware of the bomb and he was also nowhere near Engie, so I have no idea why you brought him up. Engie did his own thing the entire time because nobody would believe in him.

@@GermanPeter The way the video was cut made me think everyone knew about the nuke, not just Engie, Spy, Medic and Heavy, which why I brought him up, but I see I'm wrong now. One thing I didn't think about is that this setting is considerably more serious than TF2's wacky-ass universe entirely because of HM's influence, and to be honest, most of the mercs are high-functioning psychopaths entirely because it'll be funny, so while TF2 Engie could easily defuse a nuke in under 20 seconds, only for the regular explosive that triggers the fission to send him comically flying out of a window but still alive, I'm not sure if this Engie could, even if he had the whole two minutes he wasted on the phone.

No, some enemies just rotate on the spot. I added that to fix a problem in Hotline Miami where some enemies also rotate, but completely randomly. It was better if they did so consistently.
