Had me thinking the first time I heard this playing. This is probably exactly the sound that would be going through your brain as you’re looking at everyone you just killed. Just this silent ringing, humming almost. After being blinded with bloodlust it’s all hitting you and you’re realizing………holy shit

i love how the game forces you to back track and makes you look at what you have done, all the blood and bodies everywhere

I prefer 2's soundtrack by a mile, but this was the better level clear music compared to Videodrome, although both fit perfectly in terms of tone and themes. Videodrome has a more calm and sensible tone to it, fitting for most of the characters who were already used to the violence. It was just another job, something to check off the list. It doesn't feel as reflective, it just has an odd sense of discomfort to it as you walk by the results of your actions, only focused on the main goal instead of what you just did. Crush fits Jacket's character so much because of how horrific and sadistic he was, having the largest variety of weapons and disgusting ways to kill. Slam them in the head, chop them up, shoot them, blow their guts out with a shotgun, slice them open, rip the skin from their throat, use hot boiling water to melt their faces, you name it. Jacket's overall psyche is also way more fucked in general, only character that came close was Martin. Best track in all of 1 imo

I like that hotline Miami when you kill everyone you realize what you did See thousands of bodies without the parts and next to blood and it looks like a mistake or something you had to do.
