I love my XTOMP. It's super fun and awesome. It makes me happy every time I use it. Always on my pedalboard. Thanks for the great content. You could do lots of videos for this one pedal. I have used it as reverb and delay into the effects loop and also as overdrive or distortion in one of the loops on my Boss ms-3. I think I need another one.

The Hotone sounds muffled and compressed compared to the real thing, the Guv’nor sounds a lot better IMO.

Hi Gabor I actually own The Marshal Guv’nor purchased about 25 years ago and still going strong. Although both pedals sound very similar I think the Marshall is showing it’s age and does not have the same depth and sustain.... but seriously not a lot in it. And plugged into a nice Marshall amp sounds epic 🤩🤘😜

There's a richness and harmonic complexity to the original tone that the xtomp doesn't capture. It has that digital fizz and aliasing that affects so many modern distortion sounds. The Guv'nor inspired so many other distortion pedals, most of which are great. I've owned several over the years.
