Just to clarify a few things. I torqued the head three times but i edited out the middle step. The carb is an old restored stromberg 97 and the linkage is not quite ready yet. More on that in part 2. 👌 Thanks for watching.

Fer sure understanding why FORD made changes. They were piping Fuel in close to the exhaust ports. We all know fuel burns best when cool. But still it got them off to a good start and I appreciate the design. It was the beginning of what we have today! KUDOS to Henry FORD!

I liked the way you made your carb linkage, simple but effective. Can't wait to see you hook up the magneto. Once a magneto is set up properly, they are simple and reliable. I love your Tudor, I had to go out in my garage and give my coupe a little hug (the weather has been terrible here in North Central Texas) can't wait to give Matilda a little drive. I inherited some vintage Snap-On tool boxes from my father in law recently. Been organizing and cleaning sixty years of grease and grim off of them. Oh by the way, nice save going out your door, came close to putting a bruise on your bum. Keep up the good work!

Thank you sir! I surprised myself even. 😃 I've heard you got a cold winter there too. The snow on the smooth concrete floor almost knocked me down. I have no idea how to set up the magneto but I hope I can figure it out. Say hello to Matilda from me.

lbs for pounds? "The libra (Latin for "scales / balance") is an ancient Roman unit of mass that was equivalent to approximately 328.9 grams. It was divided into 12 unciae (singular: uncia), or ounces. The libra is the origin of the abbreviation for pound, "lb"."
