Nice to see Nautilous was saved. Same with Denny's Dynasty. They sure don't make vehicles like this anymore

I have a sweet 1988 4x4 Quigley converted E350 ford extended van with custom nitty pine log cabin style camper interior. I also have a 1967 Chevy van with its original `hippy style` interior (this one is undergoing some body and paint work....Gary in Michigan....keep truckin`

My 67 flat nose chevy has a new fuel tank, fuel lines, brakes and brake lines, radiator, stater, altenator, carb, plugs, wires, thermostat. I built new rocker panels from scratch ( needs body work around gas tank filler). Some body panels are available, but many have to be hand fabricated

Nautilus looks pretty good but has a drab interior. The other one is just God awful gawdy. The five star mac-daddy of them ALL was a van called Ye Pelican's Odyssey. Nothing else compares. I've researched for years on YPE and have never found a thing. That's a shame because it was a masterpiece.

Thats great..but both of these vans are alive and well...and that one u mentioned is gone...as with all my vans on my KZbin..they live. If I had found it. I would have saved it. But many..just rotted away because owners just didnt care. Sad...

@@HotRodHarrysI should choose my words more carefully. Nautilus doesn't have a drab interior; perhaps a little bit simpler. Nice detail but, a more simple design. God awful gawdy was not a good choice, either. Definitely 70's might be a better choice. Ideas, likes, preferences, and choices evolve and the 70's was a unique era. Either way, I'd take one or the other if you'd offer it! You are so right about the demise of the custom van. How many have been lost to accidents, junk yards, chop shops, and just owner indifference and neglect. It's sad for auto and custom van enthusiasts like me. It's a part of Americana we'll never see again.
