This is only the pilot. Recently the show was picked up by an actual studio and the first season is scheduled to come out sometime this year. I’m very excited to see where it goes from here

Then two years of waiting time since it was announced. I feel like that's recent enough in terms of a show's production. (edited because for some reason I thought the pilot came out in 2017. sorry about that.)

But it's not like we can get mad. Again, working on two different projects, each of which has full teams of people/problems to deal with and manage.

@@impulsewraith3419 yes in this cartoon the structure of hell is this: There are 7 rings, each one for a cardinal sin and each one ruled by a prince: Pride: Lucifer Wrath: Satan Greed: Mammon Lust: Asmodeus Gluttony: Belzebub Envy: The Leviathan Sloth: Belphagor Lucifer (Charlie's father) is also the king of hell because he is the most powerful demon. The Pride ring is also divided in 9 circles (regions), those mentioned by Katie at 15:30. Little curiosity: Sinners (people who died and endede up un hell) are confined in the Pride ring, while Hellborns (demons who borned in hell) can travel across all the rings

The Pilot had been picked up by A24 and is about to release the first season or episode soon fairly soon, perhaps around the time that the Pilot came out, (Oct. 28th two years ago). Not much has completely changed from what we can guess based on the fact that A24 is commonly known to allow their creators keep the main story of their animations(pretty famous for this as well). Helluva Boss is within the same universe, but it doesn't make sense to watch the Helluva Boss pilot /before/ Hazbin Hotel's pilot. So after this one, you can continue watching Helluva Boss up until Season 1 Episode 7(the latest episode finale) Alastor talks like a Radio because he was one when he was alive. Angel Dust is a Porn Star Sex Worker who sleeps with men(he's gay) but sleeps with women if they pay him more. Charlie and Vaggie are a couple but Charlie is Bisexual and Vaggy is a Lesbian. *The Clense* is something similar to "The Purge" when every 365 days(a full year) comes to an end, the last day of the year is when Exorcists from Heaven come down to clean up Hell since it's extremely over-populated...Thus the idea of Charlie's "Hotel" came into play. She wants to help Rehab these Sinners so they can be "redeemed" to go to Heaven to avoid being wiped out every year. Lillith is Charlie's mother, it's been rumored(and I believe confirmed) that Lillith may be the one who's actually ruling over Hell while Lucifer does his own thing.(Thos is may just be a fandom-darling theory until Vivziepop says otherwise) One final thing: Everybody in hell has killed somebody. Except for Charlie, all of the main characters were punished for a Murder. Charlie is supposed to be super powerful, but because she's "Good" nobody beleives that she's that powerful, so her making a "deal" with Alastor quite literally saved her reputation by a thin thread lol. Hopes this helps! I also hope I didn't spoil much. Vivziepop is known for following actual Demon Mythologies n stuff in her content for her stories, all the while making them musicals since those are her favorites c':!

Things to know about hazbin and some non- spoilers for helluva boss. 1. Helluva boss is a sister show to hazbin ( hazbin the main show ) and hazbin is going to be moved to a bigger TV series. 2. Hazin hotel and helluva boss both take place in hell. 3. Charlie was born in hell by lucifer and the mother ( I forgot her name ) they all are in hell. 4. There is a team that worked on making hazbin and helluva boss. That's about as much stuff I can think of right now, and if you are reading this when can we expect either the pilot for helluva boss or the addict music video? Reason there is only 1: This episode was teased for an entire year before it was finally finished. The characters became popular enough 1st that they used plusses shirts pins and other things to fund the project but initially this just happened to get a lot of professional talent who mostly worked on this for fun. But because it took so long to make 1 episode it was criticized because it seemed like it would take a year or more in-between or if it did get picked up and funded it would have to lighten it's tone for TV. Vixvie already had several other projects planned and while they did finally get picked up, they basically made helluvaboss their free passion project (free from restraint that is). The team is now successful enough to pay their team fairly and produce on their own time. They even managed to recruit some really big names. One episode of helluvaboss successfully made us more patient but rose expectations pretty high for Hazbin hotel. The episodes usually come out monthly but at one point it took 3 months. The episode that took that long kept having every reaction channel saying the same thing "if this is why I was waiting 3 months take as long as you want between episodes". The animation team loves to and gets to show off and the writing is just as if not more amazing than hazbin hotels pilot. Because there is so much in-between there's a lot of cannon information out there that hasn't been directly said in these shows. For instance Alastor is asexual and veggie and Charlie are a couple. Vizviepop always makes sure to credit everyone and it is an actual movie level of a team.

Hazbin hotel was picked up by American independent entertainment company A24. It is getting a full series there. Recently, Vivzipop dropped the new charactor design for Charlie Magne (now Charlie Morningstar from the translation of the name of her father: Lucifer) on twitter. Hazbin Hotel is in production and is said to possibly be released sometime in 2022. With the new design for charlie being released and the potential release date, the series is getting really close to having an official trailer.

The Cleanse is a yearly, one night event where Heaven sends a special group of angels called the Exorcists who come to first ring of Hell, the Pride Ring, and kill as many demons as they come across so many demons will hide and not come out on that night. When Charlie sends up the fireworks at the begining, that's the morning after and it's her job to send the "all clear" so demons can come back out. Why do the Exorcists do this? Simple the sinner demons (formerly human) can only access the first ring, so this leads to overpopulation.

They've not made more of Hazbin since it has been picked up by a company to produce it. Originally Blitzo and the imps were suppose to be in Hazbin as three troublemakers, thats why we could see a early design of him at the news station. But once this was picked up, Vivzi decided to remove the imps and some other characters and make a show about them and so Helluva Boss was born. It was genius move as it also helped keep interest in this world as Hazbin Hotel was being developed. We still don't know WHEN it's being released but do know they are working on it and have not dropped it. Only recently have they released some new images, some of this pilot has been revamped. Charlie has some changes, biggest is hair isnt' so round and her pants are red, not black and they changed the early design Blitzo to his current design. Some sinners have personality quirks that stem from the time they were alive. Alistair was actually a radio personality when he was alive in the 1920s, so that's why he calls TV "the picture show" and he's not a fan of later tech. Angel Dust died in the 1940s so that's why he was so entertained by the automatic window, they didn't have them when he was alive. Sier Pentious died in the 1880s so he doesn't get the modern sex jokes Angel Dust was giving.

This production got picked up by A24 studios and they've slowly been releasing new promotional art for the actual show. So far they've shown the hotel, Charlie, and Alastor. There have been some changes to the designs, with Alastor receiving the fewest changes. As far as the concept goes, as much as I'd admire Charlie's idea (her name is actually Charlotte, she just goes by Charlie), I do wonder if Heaven would actually allow redeemed sinners into Heaven. Edit- Okay someone already mentioned A24 lol.

In a lot of culture's mythology, Lilith was Adam's first wife. She was made the same way Adam was, created, so she felt she was his equal and refused to submit to him. She was cast out to wander the wilderness alone, where she met Lucifer. Eve was created from Adam blah blah blah. So Lucifer and Lilith are Charlie's parents. Literal princess of hell. This show and Helluva Boss both pull quite a lot from real world demonology etc for characters and things in the world. It's pretty cool. Vivienne Medrano who created both is a HUGE Disney nut, and it shows a lot in her animation. It is clearly far and above your typical adult animated show and even above most kids animated shows. This show was picked up by Studio A24 about 2 years ago and has been in production since then. Pandemic really slowed them down. But they have started making announcements about casting, character design changes. It should be coming soonish. Helluva Boss is about to wrap Season 1. They are making that on their own and releasing it on KZbin completely for free. And it is every bit as dark and amazing as this is.

Some details. Hazbin Hotel is Viv's primary project. Helluva Boss is the side project. She did this pilot to sell the concept of Hazbin to a studio and then pursued that while doing Helluva Boss on the side. Some things people tend to miss. Charlie is the daughter of Lucifer and Lilith. Technically Lucifer is a fallen angel and Lilith is a fallen human. On a power scale Charlie is leagues above Alastor. But her personality limits what she is willing to do. Charlie and Vaggie are dating each other. The sexuality of the characters is spelled out in the lore given behind the scenes. Charlie is bi, Vaggie is a lesbian, Alastor is ace (despite everyone shipping him all over the place), Angel is gay, Nifty is cis, and Husker is bi. The show has been picked up by the studio A24. It is likely the show will drop this year. We are currently seeing the redesigns of many of the characters drop. There has been some controversy that some of the voice actors have been recast in the series. What some fail to understand is that from a pilot to actual series there is always changes. And in the case of an independently created pilot there is going to be a massive shift because many of the talent they used were not union. And now that they are in a studio the studio uses union talent. Since this is Viv's passion project expect her to fight for it to stick to her vision of what it is supposed to be instead of just selling out. To do it properly requires the funding of an actual studio. And she has a very grand vision in mind. If you see what she accomplishes with Helluva Boss and the scale she takes it to ... well I am just excited to see how much grander she intends to take the Hazbin series. I hope for something that just shatters the idea of what a standard studio made animation series is capable of.

Nice reaction, im glad you enjoyed it. If i may just offer some simple advice. Ive watched countless reactors watch HH and Helluva Boss and one thing i notice many of them do is pause in the middle of dialogue. This causes them to sometimes miss important bits of information, jokes, story, etc or they end up forgetting what was previously said because they were talking and getting their own ideas out. I know you and others pause because you are reacting and you wanna get your thoughts out, so if you MUST pause during when characters are talking, then at least maybe rewind 10-20 seconds, so that you can have a chance to re-hear what characters were saying or what was going on.
