I got a Cyberpower pc back in 2020 when prices to build one were high. It has done okay but about 2 years after my purchase it started randomly crashing. Point of failure for prebuilt PCs are usually cheap low quality Power supplies. after some years of usage, it craps out.
@chrisjohnson13122 күн бұрын
@@sparda9060 Literally just ordered a new power supply (arrives tomorrow) because my 2021 Cyberpower system just had that issue. The two red LED power lights on my GPU were not lit up. The system crashes during playing games (only), so I guessed it was only getting power from the motherboard. I just happened to look in the case and spot the lights out. I took the extra GPU power cables and hooked those up, but the lights didn't come on, so I assume that one portion of the PSU is what went out. I hope that is the only issue, but I am prepared to buy a brand new one if I need to.
@sparda90602 күн бұрын
@ Its usually signs of power supply about to die. the PCEI lane can give 75 watt of power to GPU by motherboard so you can still use windows desktop or web browse. but playing games makes GPU draw more power than 75 watt the PCEI lane gives which will make PSU shut off or your windows to crash due to lack of power. Get new PSU and see if thats the it, if thats not it you can always return it for a refund.

Costco buys in bulk so they can get huge discounts on all the units they purchase, you bought that PC for under 900.00, they most likely only paid around 550-625 for it. When I was managing for Walmart, department managers had some leeway in where we got our new products and restocks. I was responsible for the Garden Center and Foods. The prices that I got were dependent upon the amount of units I was willing to commit to selling. I was shaving hundreds off the cost of most of the Troy-built riding mowers that I was ordering (Provided that I was asking for minimum of 10). Don't get me started on food items, most everything I ordered was 50 cents to the dollar. Everything went fine as long as you were moving units, if not, it was game over for you. Keep in mind that this was close to 30 years ago; however, I imagine the game is still being played.

You don't want a 4060 8GB card tho, based on the VRAM. It's just a poor option to go with, at this point in time.

Hi. The Costco model is to sell everything at a slim profit. Enough to essentially break even as a business, and then memberships are pure profit. When you have 100 million + people paying either $65 or $130 a year for a membership, well it can be a lucrative business. I know this is a PC channel, but with a membership and certain CC, you can get 4% cash back. So on this pc like $35 bucks off. Pretty good deal. Or if you get gold or silver, and that 4% cash back allows you to get gold or silver below market price.. 🤔. Even better deal.

They buy a bunch of bulk PC's to sell. The hype for the model goes down. Eventually they have a bunch not selling and decide to hawk them at a discount. Look for them online after thanksgiving.. You see ones that were 3 thousand go down to like 999$ Newegg Amazon the like.

I'd buy this over any console "pro" anyday. Great multi tasking gaming and streaming desktop

Smart getting the i5, the faster 14th gen chips been struggling this gen dying & stuff they run too hot smh. Haven't seen much negativity towards the i5 14400. Currently running i9 9900k 2080ti, 128gb ram ddr4. I can still play most games 50-60 fps but I really miss 4k 60+++ on newer titles 😢. Mostly have to run 1440p with dlss on medium/low. I think next year is the year finally I'm ready for another overkill type build 😂

How's a game like Star Citizen run on it?

There's a greater chance than not you'll be utilizing that "2 year warranty". It's widely known that 13 and 14th gen Intel processors are failing due to degradation. The i5 you have is less likely to experience degradation due to lower TDP and Cyberpowerpc probably put the lowest power profile in bios. Price isn't that surprising, especially if it's the 8gb 4060, 14th gen processor pricing got slashed due to the widespread issues with them. Amd Ryzen processors have lots of advantages ,especially in gaming builds; lower tdp, better ganing performance, Am5 platform has upgrade path garunteed through 2027+

What is a 4060 GTX? You do not seem too familiar with PC's. Nvidia makes an RTX 4060 and an RTX 4060 Ti...

As someone who's been building and/or following PC hardware for decades, I occasionally do the same thing. Over the years, things just stick. It may seem like a really long time for you, but their GTX cards are not that old at all in memory, relative to my age and experience. Even 2016 is like yesterday to me. In fact when I think about 2015 and the fact that it was right at 10 years ago it's wild. Experience in time does this. 10 years is half a lifetime to a 20 yo. It's like 4 years to to a 50 yo relative to the 20 yo.

It's good for those on a budget, but, it's always better to build your own PC.
