it has a gigbyte mother board that out last most name brand mother boards the cpu its self is best to use for a decated server so i not sure what makes you think a i9 or any intel cpu could out perform it inter only best to be used for office use or schooling but this just how i feel from over the years of exp with pc builds for gaming

Hello Sir Can you please tell me if the gaming pc listed below is any good for a beginner. I ordered it but can cancel or exchange as my pick up isn't until after Christmas. I intially planned to get an IBUY based on good reviews but they had a cyberpower on sale. Well that one was sold out when I attempted to purchase. The rep suggested the white one you reviewed 1st which is now 949.99. The one I listed below had the same specs at 889.99. When I brought it to the sellers attention, he said the one I picked was actually a better choice and he didn't realize they had it on sale. I don't know much about any of this. My kid wants to play steam games and 3D remodeling. He has several game systems and I'm not sure whether this can add to the gaming experience or if I just wasted money. I bought one 2 months ago. Here's the thing if you're like me which is a gamer, not super tech hardcore but definitely a gamer that wants something really powerful and will last a loooooong time if you didn't upgrade a single part then YES buy it. Totally worth it. If you're super hardcore and you actually want 4k and super high frame rate then you're going to be turned off a bit by the vram of the GPU. This is an excellent machine for 85 % of you out there. For the other 15% I definitely understand the hesitation. Just depends on what you want. Me? This thing would last me a decade easy. My favorite games are old school games and remakes which play well on lesser hardware. 1000% satisfied with this purchase

cpu/gpu combo is config for 1080p/1440p gaming like for high framerate shooters etc. for decent 4k gaming 60fps + you will probably need a 4070 ti super or higher.

@@LCJammer agreed. This is still a great set up, and you can always get a better GPU down the road if you legit feel like you're behind, but for right now this rig is great. All titles look amazing. At some point 4k 60+ will be a standard but we're a little ways from that

@@akatsukixkages yes, this is a big reason why I got this set up. Case has plenty of room to spare and the chip will be able to handle 5 series GPU if that's what you're thinking. As it is the 7800x3D easily handles 4 series. I play everything maxed out and I never even hear the fan. My set up came with zotac 4070 super. Stays cool and very quiet. There may be better deals now on best buy featuring slightly better set ups. Definitely do your research! Good luck!!! Curious to know if you'll pull the trigger.

If you live outside the US, do NOT order from them directly, period. I live in Canada and here's my nightmare story: The PC would not boot up at all when I first tried. However, the power supply (which was on a special deal) was making an increasingly louder ringing noise, eventually getting so loud that I was scared it would explode. After calling CyberPower they told me to just ship the system back, which would be no problem EXCEPT, they said I had to pay for shipping + customs both ways!! Which would've been about ~$600 USD. And even so, there was no guarantee that the replacement system would work. I opted to take the system to my local repair shop and they assessed that the motherboard (which was also on a special deal) was shot as well. I called CyberPower again and told them I could not afford to ship the entire system but could ship the power supply and motherboard individually but they refused because "those components are too sensitive to ship individually," even though they were already broken... They also refused to send me a new motherboard or power supply (even with video proof that they didn't work). They were utterly useless the whole way through. Absolute disgrace of a company.

Thank you so much for the walk-through of this pc. I slept on the decision, then went with it, and my only worry was the possible lack of the headphone jack (I used a wired headset for gaming). I took part in the beta testing on PC for Monster Hunter Wilds, and my poor old Omen 875-0014 just couldn't keep up at all, even with a 3050 graphics card. Since I am also getting read to start streaming as a vtuber, a higher-powered PC is a must and I was really torn between several ones on the market. I will definitely keep in mind the issue with the power supply, but I don't do much in the way of heavy-duty gaming and over-clocking, mainly sticking to RPGs like WoW, FFXIV, BG3, Skyrim SE, Monster Hunter Worlds (and Rise, and now Wilds), and lastly Elder Scrolls Online, so hopefully the hobby streaming I will be doing will be as power-intensive as it will get. I prefer to work with 1080p, so pushing to 1440 or 4K really isn't a big thing for me.

Just bought this PC from Best Buy, and maybe I just got a lemon, but throughout startup/setup of the computer probably 5-6 times the screens would all shut off and go into power saving mode; however, the computer would still be running and all the fans inside would speed up. I then, after some research, proceeded to make sure all of my cords and plug-ins were all seated properly and tried again…and it even happened a couple more times. One time I was just sitting on the main screen talking to my buddy on discord when all of the screens shut off again, the fans speed up and computer kept running; however, I was still able to talk to my buddy on discord. I was able to get a little bit of gaming in, playing Escape From Tarkov, and this happened once more. Now the game ran beautifully and I couldn’t have been more impressed considering I came from an old MSI running a GTX 1660 Super (which actually stills keeps up…granted on lower settings for some games); however, I will most likely be returning this Pc and grabbing a different brand as during my research, about the brand in general, it seems this is a common theme for this brand of having these problems. So, Justin to reference your video looks like I sadly just got a lemon and instead of running into a Power supply issues within 2-3 years I ran into one within 2-3 hours of buying. Know this is not a negative review! This was merely to share my unfortunate experience with the PC. Now I’m not the most tech savvy which is probably 20-30% of the reason I’m just going to return and get something else while I’m still within my return window. Will say I've had my Cyberpower PC for a while (not the one in the video) but my PSU blew out 2 times and I finally swapped for the corsair with no problem what so ever. If you're considering a Cyberpower PC upgrade the PSU while ordering and you'll save yourself some time.

price to performance out of the box is usually the most important factor, but I wouldn't feel comfortable buying or recommending a prebuilt with a 13th or 14th gen intel cpu right now. At least not until intel can show (and 3rd parties can verify) that they've solved the instability/degredation issue.

Yeah I agree that's what's most important. I always test these without overclocking so people can see how they are meant to perform out of the box. It looks like there is a patch coming soon for the Intel CPUs so hopefully that fixes the problem for the people effected. Looks like it's specifically i9s that some people are having issues with.

Of course the X3Ds will be terrible for rendering, they're gaming focused CPUs. You need to get the normal Ryzen Xs if you want better performance overall.

@fuelunfilteredautomotivetruth hmm it's honestly kind of a gamble. There were a lot of great deals that were actually gone before Black Friday even started last year. I have a feeling at some point before black friday this PC might be $200 off since I have seen it very briefly with that discount before. If you click on the bell button next to the price on the listing on Best Buy it will let you send alerts to your Best Buy app if that computer drops in price.

I’m a console gamer but always wanted a gaming pc. I bought this one due to your video and the $1499 price before it ended. I have a question.. My gpu is the zotac duel, should brand be a concern? And I noticed low WiFi speeds (50mbps) on the B650cV2 board max yet I get my 1000mbps plugged in. I’m afraid the board is bad, it should get 400 plus WiFi. Any help would be greatly appreciated! GPU brand isn’t a concern. Some users will debate that, however, whatever chipset the GPU uses, they’re all the same in the end and supplied by Nvidia. Some people prefer certain brands over others due to aesthetics, brand loyalty, etc. Your Zotac is good. For the low speeds, do you have the antenna(s) screwed into the motherboard? Those aren’t optional and are mandatory, despite what you may hear or read. They are necessary to even use things like Bluetooth and for having proper WiFi connectivity & speeds.

I got this pc! Loving it so far, but I have a question. Is there a way to control the RGB other than that LED button? I am only able to control the RGB from the RAM in the app that was pre-installed. Any help with this? I also tried OpenRGB, but it didn’t recognize anything.

@ my advice, if you get this one and it has a wd blue sn580 ssd you need to update its driver asap. Ticking time bomb for bsod looping. I bought this recently and had to exchange it before I found out. Otherwise it’s great.

I just purchased this PC and I'm going across a constant problem of it blue screening for a second then shutting off. I called support and they simply told me to plug it directly into the wall. Just one question for you. In my Cyberpower PC the RGB is controlled by the top case reset button and the Fusion software does nothing as none of the fans are plugged into the motherboard header. So in your PC did the fusion software control the fans even though in your clip at 3:50 you show the back and a small controller which I assume is controlling the fans.

if your case has a built in rgb hub then try holding the reset button for a couple seconds to switch it to motherboard control. If it has that feature then you'll be able to control it by software after that, and if not you'll have to figure out something else to control it or just be stuck with button control. good luck tho

Has anyone else gotten this prebuilt and it takes forever to boot up? Also, red and yellow debug light stay on for the minute or so it takes to boot up? And then the lights go away? I have no idea if this is normal or if I should be worried

Go into your BIOS and enable “Memory Context Restore” and “Power Down Enable” under your DRAM settings. The reason for the long boot time is because with these options disabled, it’s causing the system to memory train every time it starts, which it really doesn’t need to. Once you enable both of those settings, you’ll cut the cold boot & restart times in half or more. Just make sure you enable both! Do not enable only one, as they need to run in conjunction with one another.
