Great video that I'm using to prep for taking delivery of mine next week. I'm sure it's much more than the salesman will cover. A couple things: At 6:43 after the wiper fluid with the blue cap the next one is not battery fluid, it is engine coolant. And the "whatever this is" is the cover for the brake fluid reservoir. Well done overall. 😘

You said the front USB C selection only made sense in data/charge mode. If you are using wireless projection and want ensure no interference by another device plugged in you can just select the USB charge mode to ensure no conflicts arise while charging another device.

To be clear you can charge up to 210kw which means you would need to plug into a 350kw charger. It doesn't actually charge at 350kw. Loved this walk through video!

If I want to put a surfboard inside, how long of a board can it take? Fold down both rows, move the passenger seat way up, how long is the space in back? Or if you put the nose of the board down the middle? I have been driving a Toyota Matrix for 20 years, and the reason I’ve kept it so long is that I can put an 8 foot board inside, thanks to the ingenious way the front seat folds down. I’ve been looking for a long time for a replacement without resorting to a van.

Lesrned something new with the side mirror toggle position thanks. In regards ro the frunk...those are not grocery bag hooks but the handles you grab to remove the door that gives you access to the cabin air filter.

3:36 My Ev6 has the lift gate option too, but it never works when you need it to. You have drop all your stuff and push the button anyway..... works 100% of the times you dont want it to open, like when you're washing the car.

I have an Ioniq 5 (effectively the same software) .... The boot lid does not open automatically if the car is unlocked. If the car is locked and you approach the rear, then the boot will open (100% of the time)...

I got mine in matte blue and with the matte finish you can’t get the front grill lights. That’s ok as I really like the matte finish.

In the UK that option is not allowed. I have a 2024 GTL (not matte either) and not available by law.

FYI I'm 6'6" and testing the third row I could sit back there just fine with enough headroom. The second row seats had to be all the way up for my legs to fit though. But I made it there just fine.

No, the only brand that has somthing similar is GM cars but it’s only the performance cars with a dash cam function but no while parking recording like tesla. Rivian is the 2nd one that does however have a sensory mode feature to my knowledge however.

Excellent review. However, I am noticing that the EV9s are not selling much, given that the lower trims are very spartan making GT-Line the only worthwhile trim to buy, and the GT-Line price (given its range and that it is still a Kia) is just absurd ($75k out the door despite the rebates). Once the out the door price hits lower 60s, these will become a compelling purchase vs. R1S and Model X.

Leased a Land, which has almost every feature mentioned in this video, for about $56K. Land doesn't have heads up display or massage seats...but you can get the seats in package upgrade.

Thanks for the review, but I think we should talk about the disadvantages, for example... there are no door closers , many cameras are installed , but none of them are washed , and there is also a very low ground clearance , only 17 cm .
