I think the reason collared peccary are attracted to the jackrabbit call is because i saw a episode of meat eater where they used a call that sounds very similar to the jackrabbit call for the peccary, and the peccary started bolting towards the call.

I just started playing this dlc yesterday and went to that lake by the start and my first whitetail need zone that I was able to get had 1 doe in it. I didn't see any other whitetail around there but will have to try again after I collect all of the outposts.

The reason why the predator call attracts the peccary is because they are aggressive and vicious, and will eat what they can. so when they hear prey struggling they will come RUNNING over the hills to the call

@@ScarecrowTheHunter I have over 1300 hours in game and had so many whitetail kills I lost count actually, but my game crashed with one of the updates and I lost all of my perks and skills ,had to start completely over. Just a little frustrating.

Not true in the slightest, theres always a constant flow of new players and I get asked what guns to use more than anything else. Every live stream and almost every video I get multiple question about what guns are best or what guns I like to use. I wouldnt be showing it if it wasnt a common question.
