Join along as we wrap up the last ground close to the home farm with disking. Some great weather is helping us dry out. Then off to get the manure truck home with the help of Austin who is running truck for Double A. Glad to have it home after a month and a half away. Thanks for watching along.

Not borrowing money for this crop is a smart thing. Running older stuff is a smart thing. Not buying beefers is a smart thing. Most farmers pay money to use money. The ones who make it work without that cycle are ones who become wealthy because they are smart business people. Stuff breaks and that's life.

we lived right off I-20 at the Waverly, Louisiana exit. DOT re-did a Lot of I-20 and they brought truck loads of similar fill. with the buckshot, it just ate it up. we filled tenths of an acre and it was probably 2-4 feet over the parking area of our shop.

Duffy, If you can find a old John Deere 4 row, (15 ft) BWA disk, it will be a good backup. It is a medium weight tillage disk. It has good cleaners and you can easily pull it with your 4640 if your 7520 or your other disk breaks down. You can pull it a lot faster and get over more ground than you might think, and you are a less likely to get stuck. It was the best all around disk I owned during my farming years.
