**Hottest Minelab Equinox UK Settings** for Hammered, Sceats & Stater

SETTINGS BELOW
After many hours of testing I found this to be THE HOTTEST SETTINGS for tiny goodies. Not Park or Field......Prospecting.
20 years experience using Minelabs inc the GPX 5000
I have been asked a lot for my settings so here you go.
Prospecting 1 or 2 ..2 for more mineralised soil.
Gain/Sensitivity depends on site my average is 15-20
Disc- beginners up to +1 Experienced - -6
Iron Bias 5 +
You only get 1 tone so one tone. Dig a targets +2 upwards

Hi you can use it on any field. Just don't run it with too much sensitivity

If not using prospecting I use Park 1 ..5 tones multi wide open disc

I use the prospect mode for nugget hunting with a 6" coil most of the time here in Arizona. What treasure hunting I've been doing I've been using the 11" coil Park modes. It makes sense to use prospect mode for treasure also. I've actually wondered that myself before I saw your video. You just confirmed it.

Hi Toddy, long time no see mate since Gill and Rich's CS digs. Really interesting video thanks, I have signed up👍. My stock coil for the 800 already impresses me and the 6 incher I just love. Thing is, I recently bought the big bugger and on my normal Field 2 was a bit disappointed in the depth improvement so tried Park 2 and found (for me) instant improvement. I am going to try it today on Gold modes cheers. Need to ask one more question please. I assume you done the update on yours and I would be interested in your thoughts on whether the update actually unproved or decreased depth potential. Regards, Tommy C

The 'Prospecting Mode' in the X-Terra 705 was a fantastic 'secret weapon' for lots of interesting things! I'm sure if the Gold Mode in the NOX, if used 'wisely' could be similar?

@@terrybostock6776 hi it's fixed tones in prospecting. I personally would have liked minelab to add a ferrous tone to prospecting like the MXT with adjustable volume.

Not sure if you have an Equinox or bought one...the 600 my friend has, its has all the same frequencies as the 800,in multi, but you won't get the Gold modes toddy was talking about..both machines are great, I have the 800.

Hi Gary I run mine at 6 on this setting as it is one tone i generally use disc to about-6 on clean ground and+1 on coke infested ground. Cheers Toddy

Definitely not the best settings for the nox by a long shot , field 1 , 50 tones ,iron bias 1-3 recovery speed 5 , sensitivity 20-22 , there the only settings you need for the UK

callabash put it on last yr in is tests it was deep the vco on eqionox is what it says 50 tone gives user better info on targets ...prospecting mode you will spend more time digging massive holes for nowt....it gives no tonal information and a waiste of time i dont vdi either as when at depth it can change be eratic or not even give a vdi
