Thanks guys. Literally bought both these bats and trying to decide between them for my son. Very few drop 8 options out (although much more thank last year). And no reviews out on the select power. Just taking dry swings, i had the exact same impression…adv felt fragile and select felt sturdy. Select power feels significantly more end loaded though. Feels more like a drop 5 in comparison.

We have an adv 360 and a Louisville select 719 and found the same results as you guys. I found an older voodoo one that’s hotter then the adv also. We also broke the first adv and got a warranty replacement. It cracked within a couple weeks just above the connector.

Great video, upgrading my son’s bat and I had narrowed it down to these two. I’m not familiar with composite bats personally, I know you have to break them in, not sure he has the discipline to do that right so I’m leaning towards the Louisville Slugger.

I have the Easton Adv 360. Drop 10 tho. It’s a great bat, I don’t think you’re able to use it in below 60 degree weather because it might break. That’s probably why it was fragile, I think if you use it while on a pitching machine it could break as well. Great bat imo

I own a 23 ADV1, Pwr Select, Meta, Prime 919. All 28 to 29in USA. My boys take them to a hit track. The ADV1 in my opinion is total garbage. My 10yo max exit velo of 37.4mph on ADV1, the Meta 44.1mph, Prime 49.7,719 49.8, Pwr 51.2. In the USA line the 28" Prime 919 is the GOAT for kids 8 to 10, then the 29 Pwr. The 919 is a full composite version of the pwr, the meta is really balanced for kids that struggle to hit. The 919 has no feel, no sting, and is durable. Not something the green meta or ADV are knkwn for.

ADV1 is -12 so yeh. Meta as well. Not sure why they discontinued the Prime USA I remember it was fairly popular. Working on a USA Icon/Bonesaber/Catx Connect video. We just can’t review -10 anymore but like to keep the USA vids coming. Ty for watching

@@bombdropperboys385 imo they are trying to cripple the bats. I have been seeing all the composites get worse in usa. A friend of mine was a AA pitcher, helped a team get to Williamsport and then was shocked they all switcher from their own bats to the adv1. All the sudden no homeruns. The team was pressured to use them. I think the 360 is hotter than the ADV1, but I have seen a few break. Same with the Cat9. It is to the point I recommend ebay to parents. The Prime is the only really decent USA bat in a 28". My small fast kids use the Meta, most pick the Prime, and my stronger kids like the pwr. The Pwr and Prime rarely have issues.
